Question for those who work a regular 9-5 that doesn’t allow jeans in uniform, how do you make it work?

 Do you wear denim in the evenings/weekends or slow down on denim purchases?  

I’m kind of mad I sold my Buzz Gil Elvgren pinup print tshirt.

Dr Sole soles came in for my Wesco Boss

Part 2 of the Wesco Boss.  Going to have Dr. sole soles put on them.

Part 3 will be Wesco resole the and put the roller buckles on them.

A cobbler friend of mine recently sold me some products by Saphir. He feels they make the best polish.

They make various versions that yield more or less shine dependent on the wax content. The one on the left is 'high gloss'.

I use it on my White's.

You use all those on just that one boot?  I’ve found just Saphir renovatur to work just fine but maybe that’s me?

Diesel decided to make jeans fused into boots.  These really are “bootleg”.

Anybody here had their shoes resoled by Brian?  If so, can you post some pictures?

Bought these from Coverchord the other day.  

 

After I get my silver roller buckles placed on my Wesco Boss by Wesco, debating on either Brian or Bakers doing the resole.  Bakers can do the resole to a black vibram 700 sole that Wesco doesn’t stock , and Brian can do his full sole.  Cost and time is going to be a factor.  
 

Bakers quoted me 2-4 months for $175, I’ve heard Brian supposedly does $220?

 My Wesco romeos after using Blackrock leather n rich got noticeably darker. Love burgundy domain leather. These are my favorite shoes to wear.

So, just a heads up on Blackrock leather n’ rich will darken your shoes and boots.

Going change the sole to black 700 vibram and have silver roller buckles from Okuyama placed on them by Wesco.  Notice the rains spots.

Yes.  They’re now discontinued.

I’m surprised that Lawford denim isn’t on anyones radar here right now.  

I measured a size 7 on the brannock and wear size 7 in sneakers and boots minus Wesco which is a size 6.  Would I need size 7 in Attractions engineer boots?

Is it true there are Japanese exclusive models of Alden or am I not looking hard enough?  I’m looking everywhere for this model but can’t find it outside of The Lakota House.  It’s on a 379x last:
