Belts
in superdenim
Wow I'm sold.
Nice belts guys.
Looks like I'm going to size up 3" on my waist size.
I guess the way the thickness of a belt is creates the need for an elongated length.

Those look fantastic. I'd just wear a belt if you're that scared of stretching.

I just got that email too
$$$
I don't think it's that weird. They are the japanese repro brand with the most reach into domestic US stores as far as I know.
I'm looking to proxy a set of the SC42009 raws or one wash from Japan. At $150 before taxes shipping and proxy fees I think i'll still come up on top of the $275 that it costs in the US.

Of course they are cuffed inward. It seems like a lot of denim modeling is done that way. Since they only offer one inseam and its usually 36+ inches in raw state and this case 39"

How about when will they be in store

Does anyone have details on the new 811?
It might be tthe same one BiG has, or maybe not? It's hard to say. If I were to guess I'd say the BiG model is the old style with longer inseam. This new model has long inseam too. Not sure.

Just got my S710XX 19OZ from Hide at SharpServiceJP
Tagged: LOT 12, 33X36
Pre-Soak (Hot Wash):
Waist: 34"
Front Rise: 11.5"
Thigh: 12.5"
Knee: 9.25"
Hem: 8"
Inseam: 39"
They're being hot-washed right now. I'll be posting Post-Soak (Hot Wash) measurements when they're done.
It seems like from your measurements they shrink to tagged size.
This seems like +1" on waist from what BiG posted
What do you think accounts for the difference?
If my jeans measure 16" across after a few weeks of wears/stretching what size should I go for? I was thinking of going for a measured 32" that will shrink 1" and stretch 1". According to the BiG chart that would be a size 30. According to your measurements that would be a 31

I just got my Eternal 811BGs
I'm a size 32.5 or so and I ordered the 31.
They came and were tight to button up. But I cut a board the size of the waist, stuck it in, and soaked them. Now they fit perfect!
The jeans are just what I was looking for. Slim, but with a vintage feeling to them.

Can you measure the waist straight across?

not sure if this has been addressed earlier in the thread, but was wondering...
regarding 5010 6x6 N/W..
on BiG, a size 29 measures 11.25" at the thigh
on selfege, size 29 measures 10.5" at the thigh
since that's a pretty big difference, i was wondering if anyone could clarify or (if they have) provide their own measurements. thanks.
they are measure differently
BiG shows you on the site how they measure. I think SE measures an inch or more down from that.

i bought my new cures a while back, but i bought true to size and now they're way too big. gonna hot soak, but any feedback on how much NC's will shrink, if at all?if you can manage, try wearing a belt and not buttoning the top button. My NS sz 30 still measure 32.25" after a year of wear. I always wear a belt and the fact the button isn't buttoned is never obvious because I never tuck in my shirt.

Today I hit 1 year on my New Standards.
I sat on my ass most of the year but did a couple crazy hikes and such so I'm happy enough where I want to move on to another pair and sit these out for a while. I got some nice whiskers and lap fades and the combs are representing themselves.
I've been curious about the Warehouse 660s, Samurai S0500XX, and the Eternal 811bg.
Major concerns are:
No 'diaper butt' I'm skinny and have no ass to hang a pair of jeans on. I want the jeans to be clean in the back. When I tried on flatheads I ran into the phenomenon on all of their models especially the f301 which I really wanted.
Not tight - Slim-straight but not tube leg ala Self Edge x Dry Bones x Superfuture (Don't think that is going to be a problem with this selection)
Sizing
I wear a 32 in Skull 5010 black. Kiya says that measures 32.5. I concur with a measurement of 16.25" My size 30 APC NS measure out to 32.25" as well (Not buttoning the top button is the key to no stretching!)
So I guess my main two concerns are: how did you size yours and what does your ass look like?

Do you guys do patches for tears in knees if they are SE jeans? Do you sell denim to patch it with and can i pick the type of denim?
I've had excellent luck sending a simple English and corresponding Google translated email to the company asking for what I need and a lot of times its free or close to it.

i wouldn't normally do that but hey, if you want.
or just wash them multiple times, bleach isn't too consistent, some areas may be significantly more bleached than others
bleach would be a horrible mistake
just throw them in the wash every time you do it
