  1. any reason? and by really wrinkled i mean like...theres a really big crease all the way down the front, i don't think they'll go away. im not sure how the crease even set in so fast. but ill try wearing it around the house for a few days and see what happens.

You will want to turn them inside out and iron out the crease for sure. It won't go away. You can find people's indigo jeans that threw them in the dryer and they are faded down that crease just because it never went away.

That's the biggest hazard of throwing jeans in the dryer.

  2. it's a percentage by which it shrinks

the denim goes through a process called sanforization which 'pre-shrinks' it. another warm wash will only take half to an inch out.

un sanforized denim will shrink about 10% or 3 inches

  3. I washed mine out of the box so that later my fades wouldn't shift a lot and it got rid of the excess starch that kind of screws up the fit and makes them uncomfortable in the summer.

but yeah they'll shrink a little less than an inch. at 34/35

so 30.75"-31 or so would be ok

  4. NS tagged size 30, sized down 2.

May get them altered, but I'll await the streching first.

look good, probably pretty stiff though so the extra inseam is making them look odd.

hack it to your usual inseam and go

  5. i turned mine inside out and ran them in the washer on warm without soap. You might do well to hem also. but you could always roll with a cuff

I didn't put much wear into them at all. That's 1 year with the 1 initial wash and 2 other washes at 6 and 12 but I love them to death and wear them all the time. It's hard to switch over to new japanese denim just because they look so good and are so comfortable

    SIZING

The boot is available in Medium ("D") width only. As with most workboots, it's generously cut to allow for layered socks. We recommend that you order one whole size down from your regular shoe size for a proper fit (i.e. if you typically wear a size 10, order a size 9 in this boot). If you're familiar with workboots from Red Wing and the like, you can expect a similar fit from these.

  7. BiG measurements are wrong- at least recently. I emailed them a couple months ago, apparently they didn't bother to fix. (blamed it on 'variations')

    trust context

  8. There's a ton of MIJ 19cm at Barneys Dallas. Smallest size is 30 I think. Maybe less.

They could be 21cm as there isn't really any marking to tell me but the hem was around 7.5 on a 30.

(yes I do a take a tape measure shopping)
