  1. xpost from pbj

xx-005bk, freshly washed.  Worn for a few months, since October.  Squeezed my ooe's in for a couple weeks until they tore again.  Other than that, straight through til now.

These were Gordon's last pair in my size.  They are old-ass pink line inventory with no leaf or any kind of tab remnant fading through.

These were Gordon's last pair of 36 from very old pink I.D. inventory.  No leaf and apparently no tab remnant at least judging from the fading.

Bought this summer and worn since fall, whenever my ooe's are down for repairs (which is ALOT).

    About 2.5-3 months

Everybody loves the leaf and I did find a nwt pair of bk's in my size, with blue I.D., leaf, and older PBJ patch.  The primary differences I notice are that this really old pair above has much larger back pockets and the coin pocket is squared off along the bottom.

  3. Promised satch I'd wash and update this a week or two ago.  I had the opportunity to eek some more wear during that time, so I just kept wearing it.  Hopefully interest hasn't waned in the sweatpant contest.  The fabric does fade nicely.

    LF indigo sweatshirt

Bought in summer, started as soon as weather permitted

    About 3 months

Some permadirt at least with castile soaps

  4. re. the earlier double cuff:  I've tried the double cuff on my 005 bk's because it works well on my skulls.  It doesn't really work for me on the pbj's.

Your double cuff is rather low however.  It looks like it's compensating for a jean that is too long.   If you were to hem them and try the folsom higher, then it depends on whether on not you feel good with it.  If it doesn't feel good, then it isn't going to look good.

  5. wore these for about 8 months solid

one soak, one sea wash, one hurricane soak (tied them to a pole during hurricane sandy) and one machine wash

lighting kinda sucks, but color is fairly accurate

    Pre final wash

for some reason two circles formed over my right knee

Here are my 2 pair of STF's

No idea of washes or time on these. They have been beat up and beat down and now I only pull them out for special occasions.

This is my newest pair of STF's and I like these, I sized down one from my prior STFs and really like the fit, they are more slim fit.

Fit pic shooting on Valentines day this year.

Both pairs are just fantastic.  Nice work.

I don't even recognize shotguns anymore unless they are 18" and propped up against my couch.

Slightly interesting bit of information for Levi's STF nuts on this ebay listing, they're clearly women's jeans, although it's not mentioned in the listing, 5 buttons on the fly and some weird/wide looking hips, but there is some interesting advice inside the waist...

Wash 'N Tumble Dry 3 Times. 3 TIMES!!!!!!!

Try telling that to some folks around here. :D :D :D

Nice one!  I remember spotting that patch on ebay and posting it in one of the mynudies stf contest threads.  Wow, I still think about the winning pair from the second contest.  The lap on her jeans was out of this world.  Incredible pair.

Him hate thunderdome.  Should have kept this vibe.  The second one is a bit dated with the scavenged sports equipment but a shitton of works in snapshots of a life would have propelled this motherfucker to film:lit=max:conan status.

  7. Congratulations slab!  One more to help wear out your jeans.

Simon, those are ill man.  I think aho might be right, those are really beautiful.

Updates on mine, sorry for the bimonthly trend, just been so busy and getting home with absolutely no light outside.

They have sustained additional serious damage and the thighs are getting very iffy.  I may do a big gusset on the inside of both thighs.  Dammit, I have to put some wear on that outside patch.

  8. Hm, it would be really cool to see a middle/late aged Bruce Wayne on screen.  Like a real middle or late age, not 30.  I wonder if that was ever in the works after the success of another film adapted from the times.  I can see Jon Hamm doing that.

***who else would be good in something like that?  I don't really talk about comics on the internet.  Maybe it's been discussed a million times.  Peter Weller maybe?

  9. Other good Batmans would be a younger Benecio del Toro (bitd anyway) and Adam Beach (even now).  You'd have ethnicity problems that aren't supposed to exist though.  In the hero/villain foil both would work as Joker too.

Ben Affleck as Batman for the next Man of Steel movie wot

    Jon Hamm would have been perfect  ;____;

Wait...I don't pay enough attention to this shit.  Jon Hamm as Batman or as Superman?  I see him as a really good Superman.  Batman, idk.  The last best dude I thought of was Wes Bentley and he could probably still do it.  He would have been a fantastic Spider Man imo but that's ancient past now.  What a cheesy choice for the blockbuster Spider Man.

  11. I was really on the fence.  When I heard about them, I was joking and lampooning about wearing them a là painter's cap with the neck flaps and Reebok pumps with the old basketball-shaped pumps on them.  Visiting the store dressed like that with a hot dog in hand...etc.

But then we brought up the window and I saw the cut.  It's great.  The sweatpants are a really good-looking thing.  I don't know about "Champion-inspired" because I never had a pair of Champion sweats cut like that bitd.

I'll do it for sure.  I could only wear them in down time.  They'd cut too much into my current interest in black denims.

  12. I don't know how hack I am and I don't really care.  I run a pair of older Denons through a SA-155 for computer use and I jack them right into my LD players.  They're good.  They are from the time Denon was beating the piss out of Panasonic with player clones.
