  1. Took some pictures in better light and with my 66XX for comparison
  2. The fit from the front looks great and when you hem the jeans they will fall better and look better. From the back the look is not so good anymore. The rise looks very high and still you got a wedgie. I think you should wear them lower then or have a cut with a lower back rise?! The big back pockets also don't help. If you really only soaked and washed them once, there is still a chance it will shrink more. Did you take numbers on how much the denim aldready shrank in all deimension?
  3. Naoki only gets the one-wash versions, right?
  4. ^ if I had such a unique and rare original pair in my collection I could somehow understand not wanting to wear it
  5. Things get serious https://www.instagram.com/p/C1WjKe0PlqD/?igsh=MXZtY2V6NmxvcWpvMw==
  6. Yeah I remember (now) the green line Sugarcane millet denim to be from Nihon Menpu but didn't know for the more standard denim.
  7. In case you wondered which mill produces the denim for Sugarcane (at least their 47 denim and the new 43 and 46 denim). It's Nihon Menpu https://youtu.be/unmyU-TSo2U?feature=shared
  8. Merry Christmas everybody, enjoy the time with your families!
  9. ^ Shrinkflation doesn't stop at selvedge denim!
  10. ^probably longer than the typical Type2 but suits you perfectly!
  11. Yeah I think he posted about this back then already. Made for the Buaisou guys and for some friends (?!). So nothing you can buy
  12. As a preparation for the FW 1947, I am wearing my CSF 1947
  13. Levi's - Denime - Cons
  14. Wearing my Lb40s recently while my Denime dried. They will get more wear next year as a back up to the FW 601
  15. I would agree that these are my best faded pair. My UES 400T, Samurai S510XX-66II and DenimBridge contest pair were all on a similar fading level. The UES looked great as well
  16. I would believe it has maybe more to do with the position of the coin pocket and where it sits on your body and also how big it is. So rather a Warehouse-construction reason than the used denim?! With 60s jeans you really get that crazy lightning fade because of the different direction of the denim. Technically, this is also a construction reason
  17. Definitely not in there to win...especially with this pair of jeans
  18. You can't deny the Warehouse-influence on these Denime, I agree with you.
  19. Another wash. On the back picture you can clearly see how the indigo stayed in the cuffed/rolled area
  20. No that is pre-soak/wash so it will surely improve
  21. Ah that stuff. My uncle used to bring it with him and my parents also made their own marmalade with it.
