So many good reactions. The Manti Te'O gf quip is probably my favorite. Looking forward to the 12th!

^ There was the PL-J2 (no removable sleeves), but was pretty limited (think it only showed up in a couple JPN stock lists).

^ FWIW, that version of the SUSPENSORæ only came in 2 sizes - one for S/M jackets, and one for L/XL jackets-

When did they discontinue the little radio/dopp kit bags? Totally bombproof, love mine for traveling. Seems like they've been replaced w/ these...

looks like dwred blackout flyknit chukka sfb acg
Ha- When this was announced, my first thought was 'I'm totally going to end up with the most expensive collection of SFB chukkas...' :/ Total arms race this year with all the Flyknit versions and the trainer re-release.

Not sure how many parsed through the SDR site when the D3 pack was posted a few pages back- I picked up a couple of their Utility Pouches, which arrived yesterday. Always have liked cuban fiber stuff, and after living out of a suitcase for most of the year, I really wish I'd picked these up sooner. Not cheap, and I was a bit surprised to be hit with a $17 shipping charge (came in a flat mailer from San Francisco...), but I can see them getting a lot of use/abuse going forward.

Is that the sage or the khaki?
Khaki only existed as leaked samples back in Sept., AFAIK. White release has the same DWR application.
They do run a hair bigger - comparing directly to my SFB Trainers.

EDIT: Just did a quick test @ the sink and mine are definitely NOT repelling water
At the end of the day, it's woven fabric (wool, in this iteration); not really going to compare to leather etc-
Did you get a pre-release though? You mentioned having them for a couple of weeks, and I thought they just dropped on the 9th. Should have this tag:

Haven't put mine to the the test, but the new Flyknit SFB's have a Defender DWR treatment applied-

Aside from the solid W over MSU, this hasn't quite been the season I was expecting... Still looking forward to this Saturday vs. UCLA.

^ Glad it went to a good home. Would have snagged it for myself, but I have KTY's former grey melange ver. Very heavy duty!

BundesWehr? is my guess
They've tagged many a model to the bundeswehr block in the past, but I can't think of any time it's ever been a part of the titling nomenclature...

It's called the J-45M-BW. No idea what that coding means. Cool jacket but it's probably already gone.
British Millerain Waxed Cotton? Certainly looks like it.
Anyone have any insight as to what the YKK snaps on the back of the interior pockets on the J40 are for? Don't see anything called out in the specs or shown in the stock photos. Insert gratuitous 'pending firmware upgrade' comment here

Ex- dragged me around to Pepe Le Moko and Ox over the weekend. I'm not really one for oysters, but PLM was a cool spot and made a solid Old Fashioned (much better than Clyde). Ox and the little bar next to it (Whey?) were ok; didn't really floor me tho. Uruguayan rib-eye was perfect, but the sides and desert seemed a bit flat / over-salted, IMO. And I was equally happy with the skirt steak Cowboy Breakfast at Tasty & Alder .
