knee down, the pbjs are wayyyy bigger
pbjs are a tru straight leg while the skulls slightly taper
but i got my pbjs tapered to a 7 3/4... now they fit almost exactly like my skulls
im a size 32 btw
I was wondering basically the same thing...
Are you a size 32 in both the PBJ and Skull? Both the same snuggness in the ass?

my pillowcases are blueing
???
heh??? how'd you do that?
I am forever walking around the house wiping scuff marks off the walls from where I bump it...
My mother-in-law has EVERYTHING white in her home...I hate having to ask for a towel to carry around with me to put under my ass everywhere when I go over there...

why is getting your right size not an option?
and jeezus, they stretched 5.5 inches? that means they can shrink back at least 3 inches. have you washed them yet?
and for yet another bust on your post, if they really won't shrink back, altering material that has stretched that much is going to look completely wrong.
I agree, altering a stretched piece of denim is risky business...they will shrink up after the wash and look like garbage...all bunchy and puckery

Gosh, that's a tall order...I don't think I trust any tailor that I know to do that!
They're pretty much re-making your jeans; good luck!

...the only thing ever keeping me from buying some Imperials was the XL back pockets...this is great news!

I pissed my pants when I was 4 or 5 playing hide-n-seek...I needed to win, but I just couldn't hold it in. My mom washed my jeans...

I remember in grade 4 going to "Fort Edmonton Park" (an old trading fort for the Hudson Bay Company, I believe) they said that urine was used to set certain dyes. But it had to be prepubescent boy's.
...it may all come down to whether you are a prepubescent boy or not
Current question - How do I save my jeans?
Alternate question - How do I avoid waking up drenched in piss again?

okay this is sam113.. he posted this in the waywt thread.
ideally.. stacked.. this is how i'd want mine to look. (not sure how tall he is, or what size/length those SJs are)
If this is what you're going for, you gotta get that size 27!!! They might feel a bit tight at first...but they will loosen up a ton! I just measured my Jims, they are tagged 31" and measure 34"-34.5" after 2 months of wear
It's hard to tell how much sam113's jeans are actually stacked with those shoes...it's even making them buckle at the knees!

Size down to 27, my jims stretched at least one inch, possibly more.
I think slim jims look best when they are a bit more snug fitting... more like that picture you posted previous.
But it wouldn't be the end of the world if you kept these ones...depends on how you like the fit, some people have some great looser/saggier fitting Jims!
Keep the stack, I think it looks good...

if that works i might go with the 29. i think the 30 waist would be better but i want the slightly slimmer legs of the 29
This gets my vote...my waist has stetched out quite a bit in the last couple days.

haha almost the exact same thing happened to me at high grade. I went in looking to try on some Acnes and a sales person tried to sell me on "the hottest new brand" ie Nudie. I pointed to my svens that I'd worn a year and de-branded and his eyes bugged out.
High grade is an utter cesspool. All the salespeople there are the type of elitist wannabe super-hipster scum who deserve to be shot into the sun. At least the people at Gravity Pope are friendly!
ps sup edmonton people
Couldn't have said it better myself! I've found them to be rather pretentious as well, I refuse to put on the cool act when I go in that store.
Gravity Pope is fantastic in that fact that the sales people are normal and treat you like a human being.
Nice to see a few Edmonton people kickin' around!

Funny story. I am from Edmonton as well. Highgrade is one of the few shops we have with a decent selection of Nudies and a bunch of fashion denim. Hence why I shop online or on hollidays. I love your story. How did he respond and what did the guy look like?
Honestly, I don't think he got it...he just looked at the new pair and nervously giggled as if I were trying to make a joke.
He was a younger guy, don't wanna identify him too much, help him save face.

I prefer soaking without water...
...I put them in the washer, close the lid, and come back in two hours.

Yet Fung, any progress on your quest to get local retailors to carry Sugarcanes?
I was in High Grade the other day and they now have ALOT of Nudie, some Acne, and One colour/Model of Cheap Monday with a sign that said "selling out across Europe. Everytime I go in there though to look for something specific (ie Japan Raw Nudies) the sales ignorance amazes me. When I look at Raws, they try to "school" me in them. I am like look at my pants, I am wearing them, just 9 months old.
Anyhow, moral of story is that there is alot of learning that needs to take place for a product innovation like this and I do not think that sales staff are doing their end to make people happy with their decision. They do need to train consumers so thay can achieve the results in the Nudie book.
HEWSINATOR, I just kinda stumbled accross this thread...and needed to share a story about High Grade Clothing in Edmonton.
High Grade cracks me up. I was in there about 6 months ago, lookin' at what they had for raw denim. This sales guy comes up to me to 'educate' me on raw denim. He goes into this rant about how the trick to wearing raw jeans is to wear off the resin (he was talking about nudies) that is painted on them. I'm like "heh??" He continues "ya, Nudie paints all their jeans with resin, wear them for like 1 or 2 months without a wash and it wears off."
He proceeded to point at my jeans (2 year old Nudies washed twice) and tell me that they used to carry that wash before. I pointed at the dry selvage on the table "you still do".
