i saw hummingbird of death at the broken neck last week, i think they were in town for chaos...so insane. no clue how the drummer can play drums that fast/hard and deliver great vocals simultaneously.

well its one thing to play something very technical and offbeat and do vocals which is hard and another thing to play variations of blast beats and do singular rhythmic vocals at the same time.

i'm not bashing the music by the way, just from personal experience i find the latter much much harder.

i quite don't understand what's going on in this picture. anyone care to elaborate?

I live about a block away from Gochi. It's nice being able to walk there. For sushi, I usually go to Sushi Kuni in Cupertino, Zono in Campbell, or Tomi in Mountain View.

En (on El Camino) is similar to Gochi. My girlfriend liked it better than Gochi.

Ah, yes I tried En also. The monkfish liver was pretty awesome. but i like gochi a little more b/c it has more variety and the excellent beef tongue and albacore tataki. AND THE SASHIMI SALAD, delicious.

i'm so confused and sad right now.

Hung out with a girl i've been talking to a LOT on friday and it was awesome, i seriously hadn't felt that happy in a while.. After that she seemed to kind of distance herself substantially when I talked to her on the phone... I was kind of confused so I confronted her about it asking her what she felt.

she told me how we were gonna be away from each other during the summer and her going away to another school and that she doesn't want to get too "close" to me. I said that i didn't care... she has made me the happiest I've been in a long time and that i didn't want to think about then. She told me that I wasn't being realistic... I told her all i wanted to do was to make her happy and that if she believed all of it would end badly, I'd disappear from her life right then. She said she didn't want that and that she wanted to make me happy too and then ended the conversation...

i told her also that the one thing i regret most in my life is not getting "closer" to someone that i knew was leaving.. i regret it to this day and i just wished i lived in the moment rather then thinking about the future.. is it bad for someone just to happy in the present?

time to drown myself in liquor and depressing music...
