i have now finally figured out all the bands on my friend's tour that i am helping him out with are chillwave bands...

fuck my life.

nope not technically haha. like half a year to go.

i am in illinois.

i just went to a horrible, horrible establishment "firehouse" in downtown sunnyvale.

the girls there are not good looking, dumb as bricks, and i even spotted some girls who went to my high school. the food sucked too, and the beer wasn't even good enough to savor the experience.

and the scummiest older men go there to try to hit on the waitresses, it's pretty disgusting. the girls have daddy issues and the sleezy flirtation from the older men boosts their self esteem. its true.

we added two more songs off the EP, check them out also and please let me know what you think.

haha we tried to think of the most ridiculous name. we know a friend's little brother (given the most awkward kid ever), who went up to a group of cheerleaders at disneyland and said "i remember you, (with a long ass pause) from the bus." after seeing them at the bus. it kind of just stuck.

i can understand what you mean by being a little forced. i used to do vocals in a hardcore band and i kind of wanted to do something different with my voice, but maybe staying the same is the best bet. thanks for the input though.

welp, technically it's not hardcore, but its a two person screamo project me and my friend made. the recordings are super bad (made in a garage) but bear with it please give us criticism either good or bad.

those are both extremely selfish comments. is it wrong for the world to revel in a spectacle as beautiful as the world cup? even if some fans do not watch the game regularly, is it wrong for people to share enthusiasm for an event that demands the world to watch?

i'm a much bigger hockey fan, but i was proud when i saw my fellow countrymen cheer on our countries team in unison, even if they never cared for hockey before.

... but i forgot we're on superfuture. we're supposed to be elitist and shit on everyone's opinion.

don't understand people who claim iniesta was offside when it's blatantly obvious that he wasn't. i can see people may be disappointed with the result, but denying reality is just fucking ridiculous.

i think more people were more frustrated with the moments leading to it (spain givin a goal kick when it was obviously a corner, some minor fouls, etc.)

la oranje played such a dirty game, espana deserved to win. i can understand that it was probably the netherland's best strategy to play dirty football, but taking away all the beauty in the game is kind of despicable.

nabokov to the KHL? i'm not surprised that no team picked him up. he is an excellent regular season goalie, but teams want an outstanding playoff goalie that can rob a series. plus the 6 million he was asking for was also not helpful.

i made up my mind to just buy puerto rico instead of going for an expansion pack for settlers. i think having more than one game will spice things up a little. hell, we might just play monopoly to be old school and jazz it up.

it came out just a few weeks ago, i just found out yesterday night actually and have been listening to it non-stop.

i just ordered their first LP "erosion of the black speckle" off their website and had a nice chat with kent. he's a super nice dude. the vinyl version of "paraselene" will be out in september worldwide apparently.

for everyone who doesn't know yet, they would have been squarely rooted as another japanese screamo band in the veins of envy, but they've really branched out into more of their own sound.

i've heard very good things about dominion also. I think my next purchase will be puerto rico, but i'm kind of in between either buying an expansion pack for settlers of catan or just getting a whole new game...

anyone actually try one of the expansion packs (ie. traders/barbarians, knights, the ship one...)?

i just played a pretty intense game of catan last night. it's so much more enjoyable when you mix around the pieces/numbers and just go with it.

strategy games are fair game too.

i saw powergrid at the store, one of the employees was recommending it highly.

i'll check out carcassone, but any suggestions on co-op board games? seems like i'm getting competitive on occasion during some games, any coop games around to soothe the soul a little?
