Just got my pair of unwashed xx-005's yesterday. (I wear a 33 in nudie RR's, 32 in Calis, 31 in APC rescue) and got my PBJ's in 32. (Im 5" 11" and 177 pounds. Strong but not big thighs. With a sizeable beer gut.) After a warm soak they were a little bit small..but after only like one hour they turned into the best fitting damn pair of jeans ever. Got quite a few compliments last night and I never get compliments on my raw denim unless Im on superfuture...ever. Im at work and would do anything to be able to wear them right now. damn. Holy crap they have a low rise. But they work on the ass...Im telling you man.

How'd you go about the drying process? DId you wear them or hang 'em?

I have mixed feelings about the star...I love the top button though. At least it isn't a full-on Levi's dick-ride/repro (arcuate and all).

-Are all SC's high-rise? If not, which styles have a lower rise?

dont bother. i went in today and all they had were raw 19cm. i was keeping my fingers crossed. i tried the 32s, and even though they were too loose in the waist, they were still so fuckin tight! did the dior store on 57th have any 21cm raws at all (jap or italian)?

I called Dior Homme in NY and they do ship items out but inorder for them to ship the jeans out to you, you must have them fax you a form and then you have to fax back a copy of your drivers licence and credit card you are going to use to purchase the jeans.

Anyone know roughly how much jeans are in the store there? The guy was kind of a dick and so I hung up on him.

Takashi - Thank you for your comments. I will be carrying a greater range of sizes once I have determined how large the demand will be. Currently we stop at waist 36". I am considering both 38" and 40", I am also likely to get alternative leg lengths made, maybe 32" in the smaller waist sizes and 36" and possible 38" in the larger waist sizes. What do you think?

...just to bring it back...yea I'd definitely get these in a 36" leg length...that would be too killer.

I may have to remove the back-pocket stitching though...just a thing I have with the Levi's resemblance.

Uhm they may...but the dude said "nothing close to a 32" ...dammit...I may just order the 21cm's and return em if they aren't the right fit...at least it's domestic and not some sweden/japan stee.

Yea I was in the Dior Homme store in NYC today...when i had asked for a 32 in the 21cm's...they guy checked and came back with my size (or so I thought) in the 19cm's...since they only had the 19cm's in raw...so I said "hey, what the heck, I might as well try em on!"

Okay...those shits were TIGHT...I'm a bit of an antifit type...not baggy...but definitely not something where I have to fear my balls getting crushed everytime I put my jeans on.

So needless to say, the 19's were stupid tight...I'm a saggier denim rocker...so the 32 waist which needed to sit on my waist in order to be done-up was out of the question. Now to all of my 21cm rockers...esp. the one's who wear 'em true to size or even one up...how do they fit in comparison to APC Rescues?

I love the jeans otherwise... (I'll be headed to Saks Fifth in the next day or so to see if they still have any 21's in stock)

So are you saying that the 47's are tighter than 55's in general? Being that you would have been good if you got a 31 in the 55's...yet you have a 33 in the 47's (wow I can't beleive I just wrote that for someone else to comprehend).

My thing is, I'm in NYC and I have only really been able to try on the limited sizes of 55's that I've seen...comparing those to the 501 STF's...they are way slimmer in the leg. I was only able to try on a 32 waist...and boy oh boy my legs felt hugged like a muhf@$ka. I'm a comfy 33 waist in the 501 STF's...but that's also cause I like to sag 'em a little.

You said lower rise?? Wow, so I would be correct to assume that the waist on these is lower (and less restricting) than the 501 STF's? Similar to APC Rescues? So if you wanted, there could be a little saggage?

How much did they shrink after all of that?
