Shit...I didn't know this thing was up and running again. That's what I get for spending time doing school work and shit.
Anyway, great updates, glad to see these are still moving around, going to interesting places with interesting people.
godspeed my fellow fh3k1wt compadres.

More Superchunk
Less Pavement.
nah but seriously. I loved Pavement, but I can't help but wish they (all the bands I listened to in high school) could just stay broken up and not reunite like a shitty episode of Family Ties or some other crappy sitcom. Just let me remember them for their glory during my crappy teen angst period.
Dinosaur Jr.
Superchunk
Sebadoh
My Bloody Valentine
The Pixies
Pavement
etc. etc. etc.

can't let this get to page 4 again. This is an old pic, but just got around to uploading it.
Great Divide's 15th Anniversary Barrel Aged DIPA. I'd say probably the best DIPA I've had. It had some subtle spicy-ness that put it over the top of most DIPAs. Although I do like Hopslam, but these are almost 2 different beers.

saw it at an early screening a couple weeks ago. It's good, but if you don't know your Dolomite, 3 Tha Hard Way, Black Belt Jones history, it won't be as awesome as it is to you.

I haven't been inside to see what kind of stuff they have. To be honest, besides the name Cats Paw and the soles I've seen in this thread, I wouldn't even know what to look for.

I forgot to upload and post this, but from a while back. Popskull, a collab between Three Floyds and Dogfish Head. It was a very heavy brown ale that they aged on the Palo Santo wood. I wasn't too crazy about it, it just tasted a lot like the Palo Santo.

Been meaning to post these pics for the past month, but have been lazy. Not shoes, but figured you all would appreciate them. This is some little shoe repair place right next to Great Lake Pizza in the Andersonville neighborhood of Chicago.

Alright, finally got around to uploading pics from the past month.
Bells Third Coast Pale Ale
Not an impressing APA, probably won't get again
Two Brothers Hop Juice
Good stuff, another fine DIPA.
Goose Island Sofie
I'm not a fan of this style, but it was alright. It had a nice, tart aftertaste to it.
Southern Tier Creme Brulee
I liked this. Very sweet and stout. Couldn't drink more than 1 of these, but great for the end of the night.
DFH Old School Barleywine
Very strong at 15%, but lacked any refinement. I would get it again though, at less than $5 a bottle, but would tuck it away for another year.

a week or so ago, but figured I'd post some picnic burger pics

I was helping my mom clean out their garage earlier today when I came across this fucking gem:
An original debut, (green) cassette. It had to be my uncle's because he was into punk about that time (early 80's), was living in Bergen Co. NJ and was about the age to listen to it. That & my dad probably doesn't even know who Bad Brains is. Don't know how it ended up at my parents house, but who cares.

I have no idea why it won't let me rep you B, it's been forever since it would. But I've been sleeping on the picture uploads, will probably get a few up in the next week or so. But here's what I got the other day, all gone now.

I've been listening to this old track for the past week. I just found out it was produced by Kanye back in the day. I still like it though. Seriously, Al Tariq was underated.

actually, the milkshakes I was referring to a couple pages back were these. But instead of the little glass contraption you just use a frosty mug from the freezer

I mostly smoke because my girlfriend and friends do it whenever they can. I turn it down a lot though because I get the most enjoyment out of it if I smoke it once a week or two. When I do smoke though, I like to get bombed out of skull with a tall bong and some good shit. That or drink a milkshake.
I was wondering if anybody on here had heard of the novelty of milkshakes. I guess so

A beautiful sunny, summer Sunday afternoon in Chicago calls for a lunch outside.
Gazpacho and my mom's homemade pepper jelly on cream cheese and crackers

that's cool, I'd definitely like to try to do some homebrew someday.
Here's some stuff from last week. Three Floyds Apocolypse Cow. Nothing really special here. I don't think I'd be able to tell this from any other good DIPA.
And a little haul of singles I got from a decent store around my parents house. I made sure to try the Mad River for you B-Dawg. I gotta say it is a great DIPA. Nice and hoppy without an insane bitterness, but also with a bit of malt backing. But my favorite part is that it wasn't overly sweet like a lot of the DIPAs I've had recently have been.
From left to right:
Mad River Steelhead DIPA
Blue Heron Pale Ale
Shlafly No. 15
Upland Brewing Helios Pale Ale
Victory Hop Devil IPA
Three Floyds Gumballhead Wheat
Seven Mules Kick Ass Brew IPA
Lost Coast Indica IPA
and some pics of the Three Floyds Gumballhead. If you want a hoppy wheat beer try this. But it took on a nice peach flavor after it warmed up just a tad

Awesome! The shirt sounds cool, just let me know where and I'd be more than happy to send payment.
Also, other things to print inside...the cities the jeans have been would be cool. I don't know of anything else right now that doesn't sound cheezy.
