  1. I'm not really worried about indigo loss. it's just that i leave for borwn friday, and i need them to be completely dry. plus i am wshing my apcs tomorrow. i would definitely do it if i had the time, sadly i don't think i do.

How does one not have time to wash a pair of jeans?

  2. good point.

I figure maybe like Bridgestone against Michelin tyres in Moto GP, Japanese companies are going to come back with even better products that they've ever produced before. Original products where Levis won't have a legal leg to stand on. Then Levis can whine like a little bitch (like Rossi, lol) while their market share in the vintage style/dry denim market shrinks like a pair of steroid abused testes.

Off topic but good to see another GP enthusiast. Casey is kicking ass and I love that it's on a Duc. I followed Stoner through 250's and it killed me when that twit Pedrosa won the title in '05.

  3. voila (XS-26 wrangler repro):

    :) j/k

    edit: XXX26 is a 14 oz'er, not 21. apologies :)

XS-27 is the same 15 oz RHT as the 103's. I have a pair that I have yet to touch.

  4. sizing down two on the 003 is debatable, I sized down two and am still pretty scared to wash them after 2 months in fear that they might shrink to even smaller than after the first couple soaks and the rivets have almost ripped completely through the pockets although there is not much fading to speak of, still an unbelievable pair of pants, the vertical falling is built right into the denim and starts from day one

I don't have the 003's but the D1002 are the same LHT and it is stretchier than the RHT but I would not size down 2. The 105 and D1002 are the same cut and I have both in 33. I could have gone 32 in the 1002 but can't imagine going down to 31. FWIW

  5. SDA's are my favorite jeans by far and the 103's are my favorite of those. I have 5 pairs and I hope Edmond can get me the 103XX . I currently own the 103, D1002, 105, 1293 qnd the XS-27. All in 33 except the XS-27 which is 34.

  6. Do you guys really think he's doing it to impress people? I think he's just wacky about denim. I am too, I just don't announce purchases or post pics. I'm too lazy I guess.

I wear jeans 7 days a week and I like variety, I also need some jeans that are dark to wear with a blazer at work so I have picked up a lot of jeans and nice boots in the last couple of years.

Exactly when did these jeans become good for destruction only? I wear 5 pairs on a regular basis. I only kill my 103's and 5000VX and the others I try to keep clean. We're not all college kids trying to look as beat up as possible. The last thing I need is another pair of jeans but if Edmond can get me a pair of the 103XX I'll take them just because I love SDA's and that is my dream pair. I'll treat them very gently and keep them dark as long as possible.

Not talking trash just trying to present another side of the coin. Mike

  7. FWIW I went with my true waist 34 and they fit great everywhere but the waist. I have to wear a belt but that's OK. They are still a nice slim fit but not so tight that I have experienced the problems others have had. Very nice jeans.
