  1. So i got these in the mail today from BIG in a 32. I have the 1002's in 33 and they have an inch to give easily hence the 32's in the 103's. But the 103's are so tight I tthink I might injure myself if I keep wearing them.

I read Mike Lowery's thread on them and he said that initially he could only get the first two buttons done but then they loosened after a soak and some wear. These things haven't stretched a bit in 4 hours though.

So my question is this, do I keep working on them or get rid of them? I just can't see them stretcing enough but you guys with more experience might think otherwise.

Thanks in advance for the help. Mike

  2. Goooooooossshh Deeezzaaaaaaammmnnn @ THAT patch .. wow ...

    ugh

+1 on the patch, too big. I do like the idea of the leather piece inside the back pocket to prevent Red Moon Hole Syndrome.

  3. I tried these on at BIG and LOVED the feel of the denim on and told Gordon to hold a pair for me when the next shipment comes in, but I'm starting to have 2nd thoughts on the weight and how much I could actually wear them. Anyone have experience with these weights in warmer weather? i.e. 75 to 85 F I'm thinking I might just get the standard 103 or a pair of the d-105. I got the D-1002 and the fit is the best I've ever had so I thought it would be interesting to see the different fade of the RHT vs the LHT.

  4. Why is AA out of the question? I'm not a fan of their 2001 standard cotton tees, but their 50/50 poly-cotton blend is so soft. I'd live in it forever if I could...

For whatever reason I'm not a fan of how they fit me. I think they look better on really slender guys.

  5. Can you guys help me out with T-shirt suggestions? I need some with NO graphics, logos, brand adverts or anything but I want a really nice drape and slim but not model slim cut. No AA or Hanes or that kind of crap. I live in Podunk WV so I can only try stuff on a few times a year when I go to NYC. I looked at Splendid Mills on Revolve but I've never tried them on. Thanks for the help. Mike

  6. All things equal I would take the horse if for fashion. If for actual riding take the leather. Also if you want absolute "authentic" MC jackets try vansonleathers.com. I ride on the street and track and have 2 custom jackets and a custom racing suit.

This picture shows my suit after two slides of abour 50 ft. each. No holes, no torn stitching. For quality Vanson cannot be beat. Also they make their MC jackets in a medium weight cowhide for fashion wear.

  7. Even I'm not that obsessed! They are just pics of the interior and exterior of each. The short one was suppposed to be a gift but when I got it I had to keep it. I liked it so much that I got the long one to have a change of pace.

  8. What are the differences between CB-HR-01A and the HR-01A? The material on the CB model looks unbelievable and the stitching seems to be almost invisible. I'm leaning toward the CB model in the dark brown but it's a big price jump from the HR-01A. Any help is appreciated.
