Thought I'd post here. Size 9C Alden Cordo Longwings color #8 in supermarket for 250 USD.

I have 2 pairs of 103's , 33 and 34. Fav jeans by far. I wear the 34's more often for that extra bit of room but they are still slim but not tight. Either one would be fine for your size waist but I would rec the 34 just cause these jeans get clammy real quick in the heat.

As for shrinkage in leg width not too much,but 103's are tough denim to stretch so the legs won't give very much.

Bump on these. I actually forgot about these. Thought I had a buyer last year and then he flaked on me.

I have indy fever. Just ordered the #8 from Leathersoul. I kept going back and forth on getting them or not but the commando sole just didn't do it for me on this boot. With the double leather sole I'm ecstatic. Should be here by the end of the month. Matt said it was the last pair in 10 that was available out of the next shipment.

I am looking into buying the #8 Indy. I have some issues. I currently wear regular indys and they are a size 8. Well, I have a bit of room at the toe. The big toe comes up to the stitch of the shoe (1 thumbs width... about .75in.) Leather soul currently only has a size 7.5. Does anybody think this might work?

Have you checked J Gilbert? They are listed on the Alden of Carmel site as having them. From personal experience (very costly I might add) I would not size down on Cordo.

I put a double leather sole with cat's paws half soles on mine. They seem pretty rugged, nothing like chickens though.

Pics? I just got a second pair and am looking for something different for them.

does anyone know if the NYC (or any) Alden shop still has black Indy's?

free bump. 103's are my all time fav. I'm 79 days into my second pair right:D now.

I don't know about other models but the 1108 is very soft and there's not much you can do about it.

Amazing. If it were my size I'd be all over it.

Do me a favor and let us know if they actually ship them to you. I can't tell you how many times I have been fucked over by Barneys.com where I thought I got the last pair of shoes or boots only to find out that they had been sold out for days and just hadn't updated the site. I'm not trying to jinx you, I just wouldn't be surprised if they never show up. And they won't even contact you, you'll have to contact them when they don't show up for a few weeks.

It's weird. In store I have always received awesome customer service from them, online... just seems like they could care less.
