  1. My father picked this up last night at Self Edge, the day before I flew back to New York. I wanted to show him around the place for kicks, but he ended up digging this Iron Heart denim jacket. It fits him like a dream. I'm jealous I don't fit in this kind jacket like he does. I'll be home in 4-5 months to document the results. :)

    My dad is steezy!

  2. kiya: Nice start on that complete Flat Head set. Next up is a flashy wallet... non?

bizzy: You are killing it, 4 for 4. At this rate we're talking prolific post count to perfect waywt ratio. /stopsjocking

Ughhh no camera for a few days... alas my new Flat Head houndstooth button-up will have to wait a few more for the spotlight.

  3. thanks

any idea on why the black dukes are tighter than the indigo's?

Overdye black? I'll admit to my lack of in-depth knowledge, but Kiya spoke of the Iron Heart 21oz. blacks as 2 sizes smaller than tag size because of overdyeing. The overdye process shrinks them already, so it could be the same case where it's "preshrunk" due to the dyeing.

Skulls fit amazing on you. Wish your pics showed more detail in the jeans--but overall, great stuff.

  4. The relationship between hap and I blossomed like a young flower as soon as we met, in San Fran.
You are just saying that to make me jealous.
    minya

no need to tell lies...i was so fucking busy in sf... didn't even get a chance to let you sniff it...

Easy easy--Hap's got supergay for Africa (;)). You can all have a piece.

  5. Please note that I am Asian and do not mean to offend any races with this post. I have friends of all races and discuss this matter normally with them.

    Thoughts?

Thank you for writing that all out. It expresses what I had wanted to convey, but in a step-by-step approach.

Not offensive, but very insightful. That definitely lays out the surface of it, althoug the historical references behind this identity issue is what seems interesting to me.

The idea of the model minority plays into this role as Asian Americans as well. The notion that Asians have been coined that phrase has put a burden on budding youth who are caught trying to find themselves. Often they relate to other cultures, such as urban youth culture, for example, because of its appeal not only to blacks but perhaps to a sweeping idea of being a minority; a shared cause if you will.

Good post fob (oh the irony.)

  6. ...for africa = a big amount

as in she has style for africa... so much that you can aford to give some to the children in africa who are probably more deserving...

not new but i think it was nz only...

    Damn. I'm jacking that one.

This thread is fucking delicious... my vernacular lightbulb is going off like crazy...

  7. The e2c are very big/bulky, and very uncomfortable (imo).

Mmm you make a good point that I never really given thought to. Although I am no audophile, so it's one of those things where this is the best thing I have and to me it's godamned perfect.

I hope I don't get caught into this world... sounds like it's crazy just like this place...

  8. speaking of the azn head of hair, I've got a horrible case of that now. My hair has the tendancy to turn into a huge thick black ball of hair so i end up looking like a microphone. Neeeeeed a triiiiiiim.

Yeah man from past wawyts you looked like you've been chillin on that hair for a minute--but it doesn't look like a bowl cut. That's all that matters--that it looks anything but of a bowl cut
