I understand that Kwak has a pretty high distribution and that Bosteels is going downhill (if anything's dropping it's Karmeliet), but it's way out of the Ommegang league. DBA is a good reccomendation, gotta get my Boon on.

I will be in NY Aug 12-15th. Where would I find a decent Belgian bar that isn't going to be swammmped?

Just got El Grande and all the expansions from a friend, will update!
The only way to stop long games is to flip the board over. I once played a 7 hour long game of Zombies, which was terrible, no one could agree on calling it quits. Neat idea, but I think the system is a little bland.

Gotta get past Settlers and into the super boring Eurogame territory. Thurn und Taxis, Puerto Rico, Powergrid, Ticket to Ride. I would play boardgames every night if I could. Good foot in the door, though, also scoop up Carcassonne, great to play with friends/initiates.

Ryan, what camera you using that Ilford and Tri-X with? I wish my local lab charged less for developing b&w. I got a ton of expired Tri-X in my fridge waiting to be used with my XA2 and Zenit EM.
If you're just in it for the film developing why not just buy the chemicals and equipment needed to do it yourself? They pay for themselves after 4-5 rolls and developer can go a long way and last a long time.

If I had a digital camera I could show you the groadiest couches.
Trev, for one, looks too fly. I have that outfit in all black, and will admit that the all white+facial hair is the unbeatable combo.

Bucket hat innovation. A few years back I didn't get it, now it makes perfect sense.

Everyone who lives in an urban or peri-urban area got a friend who looks like that, slice.
Now the aged wife of Ronald McDonald who is chilling in the background up top must have been an innovator in her day.

Black Fleece one is so ballin'. If you don't cop I might have to. Wild print going on with your Mountain Research.

Can we take pictures of our unmasked guts instead? Barbecue sauce all in the stomach rug.

White leopard, no contest.

His better sense is telling him that, in fact no, not a single fashion subculture considers wearing pants like that. He is trying to tune it out.

Is there a particular name for this style of pant? Quickly becoming one of my favorites.
Paper bag.

Just had an Ommegeddon, not really taken. The wild plum was a nice touch, but there really wasn't too much yeast funk, and the finish was characteristically flat, which I should have expected from Ommegang.
I have been drinking prodigious amounts of Sierra Nevada Glissade, which is their new golden bock. Total drinker.

I own an L2-B and I couldn't be happier. After almost two years it is soft with a nice drape to it, and, after a rough introduction to pavement in a bike accident a year and a half ago, has not deteriorated one bit. Sold jacket that I will spend my life in pending no serious weight gain.
And the inner bronze color, incredible.
