  1. Anyone noticed what seems like a glitch with the radio stations?

On "The Beat" station I think, the amount of times I hear "Big Dog Pitbulls" and the "brand new/exclusive" Swizz Beats song is ridiculous - I hear that more than anything else.

Bit disappointed with the music selection overall.

  2. I think that this could be the first h&m collabo that, for the UK, will have: a) more yellow ppl queing up than white B) more ppl who spend most of their life online c) more homosexuals* than straight females.

*genuine real ones, as well as the hetero who like dressing up as homo.

  3. Lots of new G-Line stuff previewed in an interview with Complex. What intrigues me most is the Folk looking boots in the back in the first picture though. quote]

Is hiroki teh same size of Bilbo Baggins? Those boots look like some sz 15 stompers.

  4. I've got a question regarding the S/S Levis Fenom jeans as seen here:

    http://www.honeyee.com/feature/2008/fenom/index.html

The two models I'm interested in is the "Black Woof denim" and teh "painted green stitch rock used".

It says the black woof is a 505-207

    painted green stitch 505/360

    Firstly I thought that a 505 and a 207 are two different cuts? Secondly, whats a 360?

Finally, which cut is going to be the baggiest? That said I don't want a wide ass, skinny legged effort.

    Help greatly appreciated.

  5. I recently came across c_change and even more recently DiAplex (within like 2-3 days ahah)

    http://www.schoeller-textiles.com/pdf/eng_PR_c_change_test_results_05056.pdf

    http://www.diaplex.com/

Here's a further article that actually compares c_change vs. eVent vs. Gore-Tex (which is undeniably the current rankings of these 3 materials).

Here is Canada Goose's Non Insulated line http://www.canada-goose.com/products/products.aspx?Class=Men. North Bay Expedition is pretty dope as well. HB has better pictures http://www.hypebeast.com/2008/03/canada-goose-2008-spring-summer-collection

Sorry for the jump off, technical fabrics with fashion are hella interesting to me.

Thanks for the info, I remember Schoeller from acronym, but didn't realise how diverse their products/materials are.

As for Canada Goose's jackets, it seems that some use: http://www.3xdry.com/ (from Schoeller).

Website doesn't say how long the exterior waterproofing treatment actually lasts for. When is an external fabric going to be created that doesn't need treating or degrades over time?

  6. I'm not that knowledgeable about (N) pricing, but does this fall in line @ ~ $1300 USD, noting it is made of Gore-Tex.

however, I'd like to see Visvim ditch gore-tex for a better tech material... or perhaps the fact Gore is so well known amongst the non-educated makes it a big selling point.

What material would you be talking about? eVent's?

  7. yeah I know!

but this years are with Porter aswell.

What?! Lame. Where's the ballistic cordura?

Right about the detailing, the zips look too much, too gay.

NHBD seems so much more consistent in terms of style/direction, Wtaps is now looking like nhbd alternative, for gays..* the basics are nice though.

    *little harsh maybe?

  8. I think someone who is pretty skinny (I am 5'10'', 133) wearing baggy loose fit stuff looks really stupid...i don't think I should avoid buying supreme because of it though

Its only a problem if they make gear which is long, thin, and a small neckhole. Fat neckholes look shit if you have a coat/sweat, things just sag down so ill-fitting. That rules out L. M's are ideal for midgets.

  9. VISVIM FBT LHAMO-FOLK have dropped in Hideout. £260 was the price (90% certain I think; could be £290).

V V nice. Could imagine trashing them if you got caught out in a storm.

Guy was trying them on as I was in there... already had his vis socks to try them on with.

  10. I'm really tempted on ordering the backpack, but I'm not digging the boxy look. Anyone have additional pics of it?

Its a box. Not getting away from it. And the back padding is pretty rigid.

  11. did you get anything PAND?

No, was strictly a reconaissance mission.

TBH, most of the outerwear is a let down, so too are the T's... Maglite is kinda cool, but non-LED mags are so behind the times. Duffle and backpack best things I saw.

  12. Yeh it's great. Proper box, well thought out with compartments/mesh pockets that kinda thing inside, and the bottom has those velcro straps for your jacket/skateboard*

    *if applicable.

Hideout had em for £110 i think.

Backpack would be mint if its bigger, the website has it as a rectangle, it really aint. Just a pizza box carrier.
