  1. I just signed up, hoping my leg heals up soon so I can start running again.

Speaking of legs, has anyone had any visits to a sports physio? I have to see one tomorrow: for 8 weeks now i've had a problem with teh top if my leg/thigh, and slightly on the interior side. The discomfort travels up sometimes to area around appendix. Anyone had anything like this? I took 2 weeks off, tried to come back, couldnt (like 4km before having to stop through discomfort) and took another 2 weeks off. Is still sore, tried to do a 10km yesterday and laboured horrendously.

Am I right to think the physio isn't going to cure me in one session? I've been doing strengthing exercises and stretches with a theraband for the past 2 weeks.

Oh, on a different note, waht's teh difference between endomodo and nike+ ?

I'm a nike+ user if anyone wants to add me, although currently i'm struggling with just 1 run a week.

  2. well you're supposed to size up in running trainers... I wear most nikes US10, but these japanese racers always seem to fit too small; I would've had to have gone for the US11 in teh AW12 lunar one that they brought out, was a bit narrow. Think you can get away with TTS in the lunarglides, but i prefer sizing up. I woulda probably copped US10.5 in teh zoom elite if i had the chance.

  3. Thinking of copping warm up pants but the squiggly pattern is a little 'ladies REI' to my eyes.

Bought the new tights/lunarspiders. Hope sizing up works on the shoes.

Pants were the only thing i vaguely liked, but then I never see the point of running in trousers.

  4. Just tried on the new Lunarspiders, sized up from my US10 on teh Zoom Elite 5s to a 10.5 to get the right fit.

Girls stuff looks good, the guys is attrocious. The fabric on the tees is much nicer on AW12. Interesting to see everything I picked up was made in china, even the convertible jackets aren't made in japan. Some of the fabrics feel crap too, and i look as if you;d jsut sweat bucketloads. Hats are alright if you need to run in a hat.

Shorts hadnt dropped, so couldnt touch.

Oh and that new massive GYAKUSOU logo, its horrid on the tees, i dont even think it's 3M like all the previous seasons. It's all a bit shoddy, like ragged around the edges, again teh older 3Ms from prior seasons looks much better.

Would cop the shorts in an instant if it wasnt that that heinous buttcheek logo.

  5. You should look here and use the size guide tool, it's quite accurate. Obviously depends on the model, the Lunar Racer/Spiders come up quite narrow which is ironic considering Japanese tend to have wider feet.

I have the zoom elites in a US10 and wear asics in a US10. Should probably have got 10.5 as teh toe box isnt as wide as would have liked. Not too sure if i like the firmness of the zoom elite either, compared to what usually run in.

  6. Nike x Undercover Gyakusou Convertible jacket from the FW11 collection. Worn it once before deciding not for me. Made in Japan. Size Large. It is showerproof.

Measures: Length (from top of shoulder) 27.25"/69cm

    Pit to Pit 21.5"/53cm

£100 excl. shipping (which I can't imagine being that much as it weighs nothing).

Selling these Yuketen Maine Guide 5 eyes.

    Size is a US9.5E

Worn a handful of times, they are just too small for me (across the toe box, length is fine).

    I usually wear a US10 in Nikes.
