  3. I'm also going to Paris, but for 4 days, and am totally clueless about:

    where to go

how to get there (not to get to paris, i know that much)

    best way of getting around

best areas to stick on foot

places to eat (im looking for more traditional/homely spots, not Alan Ducasse $$$$ establishments)

I'm staying near 10eme Arr/Saint Laurent/Chateau d'Eau... is this near anything, or will i be spending a bit on metro trips?

    cheers

  4. How do the ring boots fit? Belts I've had with double rings always work loose and you're forever tightening them, how do the Quoddys stay on your feet snugly, or are your heels forever kicking out of them?

  5. Okutama has quickly become my favourite city retreat. I first went there last weekend and walked around for nearly two hours. On my way down a mountain road I ran into an old man and his wife driving up the mountain; the man apparently "owns" (language barrier probably came into play here) the mountain I was walking on and was overseeing development on it. I continued down and they quickly followed, inviting me over for tea.

Went back yesterday and took a bus to Okutama Lake area to check out the abandoned Okutama Lake Ropeway.

    fucking dope post. +rep

W)Taps brown leather boots. From SS02. Not sure why they are a SS model as they're lined and insulated. Brand new in box.Rare, esp in this condition.

Slightly too big for me. Size is stated as "XL: US10-US11". I wear US10 in most Nikes, these are slightly roomier (If you're US10, they're best worn with thick, wool socks).

  7. Firstly, I've searched and searched with no specific avail.

My Samurais are 14 months old and had their first wash at 12mths (40 degrees, non-bio, flat dry). Problem is they could do with about an 1" off the waist as they always seem to stretch. What's the best way of doing this? Hot wash at 60? Or tumble dry high?

  8. i wear an US 8.5 vans

    and US 8 in chucks

got the 7.5D, and it is comfy with socks. without socks, you may want to go a half size down. (a cobbler can always stretch up a half size). i'm guessing this was due to UK sizing (?)

    hope this helps

Wait, are we talking thin, fine cotton socks, or a slightly thicker wool mix number? Are they narrower than normal D widths, as all the sizing i've found trawling jp sites suggest even the D's are narrow as fuck.
