Broke out a new R by 45RPM indigo dyed t-shirt I bought from the SOHO store in 2005; it's so heavily saturated with indigo that it appears black. Shown with a well worn pair of Jomon jeans with silver buttons and rivets I bought O/W from the SOHO store in 2005. Pre 2009, those boys really knew indigo dyeing; no one did it as well!  Presently, Pure Blue Japan comes as close as anyone.

worn Jormon... wow. makes me want to break my pair out and start wearing them instead of the Aihiko's i have been wearing the last few months.

^^ very, very cool find. An un- or lightly-used pair of those is close to the top of my list of jeans I'd like to get my hands on.

Never know, there might be a pair of begin’s around somewhere but even back in 2007-8 when I bought my first pair they were lightly used and that was hard to find already. I think they were released in 2005 or so, so I wasnt expecting to even find a pair in that condition in 08. Kinda wish I kept them since I ended up gaining weight and buying the same size all these years later. Unfortunately this recent pair didn’t come with the matching bag. Good luck on the search

I wish you perseverance, as the AI journey can be frustrating in terms of fading - most excellent score!

I ended up selling my second pair of the natural indigo version a couple years ago for this reason. Couldn’t justify keeping them as just a novelty

I would expect the indigo-mix denim to fade easier - marginally!

it's difficult to positively identify pictures of worn-in and fade examples

There was a pair on eBay a could years back heavily faded. Wish I kept the pictures but this pair currently listed looks to be pre distressed but might give a representation of what’s to come.

  4. Back to share my Latest unexpected pickup. Haven’t been this excited to get a pair of jeans in years. About 12 years since I sold my pair because they were too big and I just didn’t know any better. Second pic is with a pair of worn Hawaii’s in the background

    I'm a 30 and always go for 32 in No.1 and 30 in No.2.

Chan I remember you bought a pair of 2101s off me a few years back but think you passed them on to someone else.

Yea I stupidly sold them off years ago. I did end up finding another pair that I own but they will take a while to break in

Missed my old Lazy S jeans so went on a hunt for a pair. Ended up finding two pairs, one in the 0005 fit that they did for the European market and one in the 0200 fit that was sold in the States.

The 0005 jeans were mine for the fine sum of one single American dollar! These are a 30 waist but the 0005 model is vanity sized.

No pics yet of the 0200 model but they're large in the waist for me and a much looser cut overall. Not sure what I'm going to do with them yet.

dont log in for almost a year and i missed a lot.

i didnt realize there were multiple lazy S models. size 30 is my size if you ever decide to sell the 0005. i have a pair of the 2101's but had no idea there were other cuts. what size are your 0200. cant wait for the pics
