872!!! 18 oz. flame denim regular fit. I've been eyeing these up, just don't ever think I could wear the flame denim all the time. so nice though.
As someone who's been wearing the flame denim all the time, I can say with complete certainty that it's not quite as flashy as you might think. Get them.

I have a lot of thinking to do for the next 11 days.

Cheep, are you doing that pair in addition to the contest one?

Starch or not, those Edwins look great.

Keep it up, Cult. Those are my favorite of yours all around, I think.

You should be eating at Happy Taco. It's somewhere near CBs. I've never been, and I may have dreamt it, but it looked wierd so I want someone to go and tell me what it's like if it actually exists.

A lot of rep worthy stuff but I had to spread it around...
78: That polo and True Blues together is classic.
1995chardx: Dope!
Please tell me that's a Born Against shirt...

Good fit. The blueness in my pics is the fault of the sun. More often than not they look way darker.

Bummer. I was most stoked on this one.

Don't have exact measurements right now, but my 872s are size 32, my APC New Standards are size 30 (good fit), and my PBJ XX-005s are size 30 (should have sized up). If you're familiar with either of those, I guess adjust to your size accordingly.

Here are mine at about 3 weeks, worn every day. I don't think they've stretched significantly, but they have softened a little and fit better than they did initially.
You can kinda see some fade if you squint right.

I want to see some of Kiya's broken in pairs.

I can't tell if this "DJ" thing is a big in joke or not.

Post those pics I'm curious. I hope they look awful so I don't have to feel bad about missing out on them =P

okay i've been reading all thru this bitch and i can't come to a decision. i realize that the 005 is slimmer than the 003, but the 003 seems to be a bit baggy for my likeing and the 005 a bit slim. I wear a 32 in lvc '47, and i like the fit of them a lot. if i got the 003 i would probably go size 30, or size 32 in the 005? i like the 47s but maybe with a slimmer hem which is why im thinking the 005
can someone help me out
I would say go for the sized up 005. The 003 will always be too baggy for you, and if you try to size down with them it will look awkward, not to mention the extra stress on the waistband/crotch.

can anyone please update some pics of 868/872 plz??
:D cuz theres a restock on rakuten last month , its tempting
No pics, but I wouldn't have a lot to show yet anyway. On my pair there is the vaguest suggestion of fading in a few places. Nothing anyone but me would notice, but I can tell the color is going to be great eventually. I'd say go for it.

Beatle, killer fit.
Lestat, why wait to soak? If they're raw, there's really no good reason to wait on soaking. Oh yeah, and mine are 11+ months old. Still slubby.

You don't see the beautie in this ??
I would put this in the same category as sanding, unless I'm missing something.

Stretched out like crazy (wish i woulda got a size or 2 smaller!), but still i like them.
Two sizes smaller? Really? They look great as is, but you've definitely got boxer brief or pocket bag fades. I think you got the correct size.

How long have you worn yours for? I found that mine stretched out a little bigger than tagged after some wear.
If you're bigger than the jeans, they'll stretch where necessary. I strongly suggest not sizing down though, because I think the stretching from excessive downsizing will facilitate breaks in the denim later.
It probably depends on your build, though. I have thick thighs from years of soccer, so I think I'd have benefitted from getting my regular size. Skinnier dudes could better get away with going down a size, I suppose.

Post pics of the back already!

Using an x is really tacky in my opinion. Screams streetwear/niketalk/hypebeast, and has nothing to do with the edge...

Just wash when they're dirty.
If you wait too long, the fabric will weaken and you'll develop breaks.
Too often, and you won't get defined and contrasted fades, assuming that's what you're going for.
As for what exactly "too often" means, that really depends on your lifestyle. Cheep gets away with frequent washes because he's active. Some guy like a year ago on here had a pair of Diors he washed pretty obsessively and they looked bad.

I've had mine about a month, and there hasn't been much fading yet. I posted some pics in the Eternal 868 thread that show the little bit of fading from my wallet. From what's already there, I think they're going to end up a great color.
No washes yet, just a hot soak to shrink when I got them.
