I agree with the latter part for sure. I was hoping for far more stretch than I got with those pairs. APCs ruined my judgement.

Took some updated fit pictures. I've had these for about 3 months. A hot wash and dry would probably improve the fit, but I think I want to hold out for some significant wear before doing so. That guy with the size 30s that fit perfectly who's bigger than me makes me wish I'd sized down. I was frightened off by my inability to button size 32 811s. The 872 is a very different cut, though. Anyway.

Hrmm I will probably vote for HJJ when the time comes. I like how his are still nice and dark and not washed-out looking. But only time will tell if his turn out the best come november.

Crotch has been repaired with contest Samurai denim (thanks again, DD!) I never had a blow-out, but doom was definitely impending. Crisis averted.

They're still pretty stiff. That will improve with wear, I hope.

No, they came one-wash. It's probable they'll slim down some with a wash I suppose.

3 or 4 washes. First wasn't until around 6 months in. It was necessary every time.
