  1. Also wonder whether Vardy's performance level will last, I do hope so for him, but I think it's a bit doubtful. the most he has scored in the last 3 seasons is 16 and that was in the Championship.

Agreed about Mahrez, I think it will become a top player. I wouldn't be surprised if he leaves to a bigger club next summer.

  2. I recently got a Herno Laminar 3 in 1 parka and there's been a bit of talk here about the brand and I just can't stress enough how awesome the jacket is, it's really the perfect cold weather parka. was hesitating between that and a veilance monitor coat and the fit (and versatility since it's 3 in 1) blows the veilance coat out.

wish more shops would carry the line, really under appreciated IMO

  3. 2 sizes up. I am a size 48 / 50 in tailored clothes and my workout gear is usually size M, sometimes S. Ordered the jacket in XL (which I am still afraid might be tight if I layer underneath). Check the measurement, but the pit-to-pit on the XL would the equivalent of a Acronym small (or even smaller than a small depending on the jacket).

  4. Doesn anyone have any feedbacks on the ISAORA Ultrasonic Mac ? I tried searching about it but couldn't really find so many feedbacks except from someone seeing it store and not being so impressed.

btw if anyone has any coupon code for the website, it'd be much appreciated.

It's currently on sale fof $235 (40% off). I've tried it before, can't say I was overly impressed, but then I'm used to Veilance and Acronym so it's really not a fair comparison. I think it's very good value for money, but then you need to be realistic about what you are getting since it is much, much cheaper than comparable brands. I think that goes for all Isaora products.

  5. tried malin deodorant last month, did an allergic reaction to it, lot of pimples around the armpits and dry red armpits lol was not great,

i got back to clinical+, drugstore shit and work great

this happens often when switching from normal drugstore stuff (I forget which brand, but one actually warns that it will take 2 weeks to adjust). Also did the switch recently (although I got Menscience) and the first couple times I used it, it burned like hell and my armpits also got really red, but I continued and then it went away after a few days and now I don't have any issues when applying. I will never go back to drugstore crap.

  6. I work downtown-east (near the water though) and can meet up somewhere close by after 7

Been so busy at work so have not had time to do much social things, but perhaps we could do thursday post work drinks soon. perhaps september 10? (I would do sooner but will be travelling this week and the next)

  7. I have the field, fits very boxy and big (definitely size down). Because of the larger fit and lack of a cord / closing system at the bottom, it kind of fail at keeping warm too.... Looks good thought ;)

  8. Also a Gooner so obviously biased ;) I kind of agree that Chelsea are the team to beat, but I also think their squad is really thin so lengthily absences from Costa and / or issue with their central defenders could cost them dearly. The jury is still out, but it doesn't look good for Falcao (I personally think he will never get back to his peak as he has been diminished by the knee injury) and let's not forget Terry is 35 here, playing every regular season's game like he did last year is pretty spectacular at his age and won't happen this season. They're also a bunch of cunts.

Arsenal got the best squad since the Invincibles, lots of depth which is something we haven't been use to seeing these last few years. Obviously a Benzema / Lewandowski would be a welcome addition, but it's not looking like it will happen. Depending on how effective Giroud / Walcott are as well as our injury record (which again is not looking good for Jack, long-term injury to Coq would be a disaster), I think we have what it takes to really push for the title. Still can't believe Chelsea let us sign Cech, really think (hope) it will come back to bite them.

Man Utd, i am not too sure what to make of them. With the money they've spent and the squad they have, they ought to be pushing for the title as well, but there's still some obvious gap in their squad (striker probably keeper too) and I am not sure LVG has really found his winning formula yet so perhaps he'll continue to thinker with the squad and formations and improve on last season with a 3rd place finish, but I don't see them winning the league just yet.

Man City, it will all depend on the form of Kompany, Yaya Toure and Aguero IMO. Aguero was the only one of the 3 to have a good season last year so we will see if the others can bounce back.

Liverpool (finally) did some smart shopping so I think they really have an improved squad (even with the departure of Sterling), but I just don't think it's good enough for a top 4 finish.

Altogether, could not be happier football is back!!!

  9. Decided to take the L on finding shoes here (wear a size 13). Went to multiple stores in Shibayu that had birks and docs and none had anything close. Jealous of anyone in a US 9 or 8 considering the resale shops here.

    Doing Ameyoko and Ginza tomorrow

Yeah, you won't find anything bigger than a 11....

  10. Hey guys, been in Toronto for a couple months (accepted a job here), but haven't had a chance to meet to many people (outside of some finance bros) since I am often gone week-ends to visit the gf in NYC. Have met so many people through SuFu over the years so was thinking perhaps some of you might be interested in a meetup of some kind. let me know.

  11. I realize this is a subjective question, but do you guys think a galvanic IS would be overkill for san francisco? I run hot so that's a consideration. It only has 60g of coreloft but I'm thinking I'll probably never use it up there. I've been eyeing a few long techwear parkas.

I haven't worn this particular jacket, but judging from my experience with other insulated Veilance pieces, you're going to boil in there. While they are comfortable across a range of temperature, these pieces were designed more with Canadian than Californian winters in mind so I don't think they are comfortable above ~35-40 degrees.

  12. have any of you eaten @ momofuku's mainline restaurants

i've had stuff from the milk bar which tasted very delicious, but i'm debating whether to take some people to noodle bar or ma peche. i've heard terrible stuff and great stuff. not sure if it gets crowded near midnight as i love to eat mad late

Went to Ma Peche last weekend. It's a fun place to go with a group (you need to get the fried chicken), although location isn't ideal (we got an early diner before going to see Morrissey at MSG, but otherwise why would you be in midtown on the weekend). you need a reservation.

Noodle bar is ok, there's some better ramen place IMO. Plus their ramen bowl is like 1,300 calories....

  13. Good move, they're great guys over at Peggs and Sons, only UK retailer to have the balls to carry Acronym in store.

For sure, especially being in Brighton!!
