  1. Go for dark brown suede with a square toe or possible a harness boot. Cowboy boots are hard to pull off unless you are going for the whole look. Frye boots are nice but don't buy them online because you really need to get a good fit with them or they stretch and come loose from you heel, (very annoying).

  3. I ignored a customer at the laundramat last night because she was talking on her cellphone while trying to drop off her laundry. I just walked away until she hung up, then I came over to help her and the goddamn thing rang again...I walked off again, I refuse to be held captive by someone else's conversation, it's bullshit and rude.

  5. i felt that the story had reached its natural conclusion when i buried my father and three grandparents in their twilight years. when old people die, it feels right. burying friends that have OD'd or have killed themselves otherwise, i am left with a sense of injustice that won't subside, even with the passage of time.

    I see your point.

  7. i am satanic. all satanism requires is the belief: "and ye harm none, do what you will"

that describes my attitude very succinctly. the only other tautology that i can accept is that the young should live, the old should die.

Let's just see how you feel about that when you get old. Methinks you may change your mind.

  9. So true! Or the old ladies who take an hour to write a check for a gallon of milk...

Many old people lived through the depression and 5 cents was the difference between eating and not eating, many are past their earning years and are struggling to get the neccisites they need to survive....and when you get old you get alittle slower. Have some respect, I hate people who get impatient with old folks, we could do with a little more compasion in that department in the United States. You never know who is in line in front of you, they could of stormed the beach at Normandy, or fought in Korea or just be a very kind old person trying to make in the United States where age is considered a handicap and not honored and respected as it should be.

  10. find some athletic trunks..they are slightly longer in the leg than briefs but not like halfway the knee. Target makes some that are cotton but they have like 4% of Lycra in them so the fit really well but are not hot. The Lycra is the secret because it breaths really well and form fits without bunching up, and they are really thin. They wick away moisture instead of holding it against your skin. Commando and raw denim for months on end can cause a nasty infection.

  11. If I was a designer of denim and I knew I could sell a customer 3 or 4 pairs of 3/4 the way destroyed jeans a year to a customer because they fall apart after about that time I would not encourage the desire of the consumer for raw denim for obvious reasons. True individualist of fashion don't strictly follow what designers encourage but a fair many people just buy what they are "Spoon Fed".
