  1. the shirts i wanted fit, but the blazer i wanted didnt.

but then i realized, everyone and their mom is going to be walking around with the same blazer, so why should i even bother?

  2. If it was just a capsule, I would be more excited. But I don't see Jil being great at overseeing all of uniqlo (I mean, her hand wouldn't be in about 99% of things, I'm guessing, but still...)

Looking forward to the special Jil line, though (or whatever it's called).

she's taking on a design consultancy for men's and women's lines.

it's not about having her design every single piece that uniqlo puts out,

it is about having her input shape, direct, and tighten what uniqlo does

from here on out, in terms of their product. this somehow detracts from your excitement over the capsule collection?

  3. of course, the clothes will have to be evaluated, but from a business standpoint, this is kind of fucking genius.

as far as clothes, i am confident that they'll be great, both the capsule collection and, i am hoping, a general tightening and improvement of the core uniqlo line. hell, she's been spotted scouting for fabric at the fairs, this just smells so fucking good.

  4. youve gotta be dumbtarded. jil sander and uniqlo makes more sense than any other designer meets corporate retailer collaboration ever. the aesthetic hallmarks they share are extremely similar, and fact is, this is a major coup for uniqlo. she'll have her hand in designing for all departments, plus a capsule collection. this is the perfect move for her to make at this point, and i'm sure she's raking in a nice amount of cash. with uniqlo's ability to source decent materials in large quantities while keeping prices low, i see only positive things coming from this.

  5. the idea of trying too hard is so misused and trotted out at the most incorrect times...

and for that matter, when did being considered and giving a fuck about how you present yourself become so bad?

as was mentioned, trying too hard doesnt exist when what you're doing is unique to you and your personal story. when what you're doing is meant to initiate you into a tribe or group is when you've got the age-old story.

if giving enough of a fuck to be cerebral about how you look to the outside world is wrong, then this message board and several entire

    global industries wouldn't exist.

  6. Next stop: Common sense.

I think that the porn industry above all else is subject to the harshest of generalizations. I'm no Andrea Dworkin, but be realistic. Being politically correct about the porn industry seems comical. The pornography industry has had a very consistent record of controlling broken women with drugs. I don't think we need to page Dr. Freud to diagnose the vast majority of women working in porn with some pretty textbook case abandonment/molestation issues.

you're totally right, but let's not go as far as saying every single woman in porn is being subjected unrelenting cock servitude, because that isnt the case.

let's also not call women who are being drugged and systematically raped and have all sorts of fucked-up histories that have led them to unrelenting cock servitude bimbos. it isnt nice.

...unless youre the one drugging and raping and getting your cock served. in which case, you can call the cunt any fucking thing you want.

  7. i think the opening ceremony colab is better than oc mainline.

the beautiful thing about the oc collab is that the quality of the clothing will be better than oc mainline.

    ohsnaps.
