kwiteaboy are the pair you are getting sent a deadstock pair?
Because I was asking about the black denim everyone on here was ordering, they said this older denim was a shorter leg then their current models.

i quite like bloc party, but they are derivative. Stupid if you say they aren't. Next thing you'll be telling me is that the darkness have never listened to a queen or ac/dc album.
i think interpol is more like joy division with a little television (marquee moon) thrown in.

My understanding from reading peoples posts here is that deadstock in regards to denim means jeans from past seasons but are still new.
So haptronics jeans are deadstock as far as imperial are concerned. dry denim or raw denim are not synonomous with deadstock. So maybe they don't make washed black dukes anymore.

I would like to see more photos from the people who have purchased recently. Especially from Guffer, what is the washed pair like?
Anyone managed to get their hands on the indigo pocket embroidery yet?

Broken Twill selvage, i would be definitely picking that up, i wonder which mill they are using to weave that denim.

Common problem.
This was mentioned in a thread a while back. We were discussing the best method of wearing in raw denim.
Some brands suggest leaving unwashed for as long as possible (ie. nudie) but some suggest only leaving raw for three to four months.
It's a tough one, I own some imperial duke raws, on their site they say 3-4 months is enough, but out of habit i wore them for about 9 months before i washed them. They didn't have the crotch problem but you can see it is worn a lot more in that area.
I suppose there is no definitive answer.

yeah
I have my camera back now so expect them soon. However, i can't get on SF as much anymore, so busy around december.
I'm glad people are starting to appreciate Imperials more.
I would love to see pictures from those people who have ordered recently. Especially if anyone has a dry black selvage pair or a pair with the indigo coloured pocket embroidery. Tossing up which i am going to buy next so need some photos.
Come on help us out here.

I'm nearly certain that Lee never made any full selvage outseam.

I do not think you can judge the denim from the photos. They fade very well in my opinion.

Sorry Parker mine are in the wash as we speak.
Second time i've washed these particular jeans in a whole year of wearing.
Fingers crossed.

I am getting so many PMs about Imperial it is not funny. And many are very similar
To be honest there are people on here who would know as much as me so it is probably a better idea to post questions on the thread, especially sizing issues.
To answer a couple now.
1. I will post some photos of my worn in DUKE's as soon as I get my camera back.
2. The denim they use is very dark denim it feels very rigid to start with as well. It is a redline selvage. Feels about 14oz maybe a touch under
3. When i say they have great construction i mean there is no visible overlocking in the jean. The whole garment is fully felled, very nice but many people would not even notice.
