  1. main problem i see is you'll lose about an inch of the circumference of one leg, perhaps even more.

sorry to be a party pooper but is the tailor going to reattach it so the seam is uneven or is he going to patch it?

Just can't see this ending well. It is bad luck because you had done a beautiful job wearing them in.

    good luck

  3. when they say genuine waist measurement, they mean you should get a tape measure and check what your waist measurement is.

    That will be your size.

  4. This is an interesting forum as not a lot of westerners I know are interested in travelling to Japan.

So many go to London, Paris, New York, Australia. It is really interesting that I see so many people coming here to holiday.

I wonder why this particular group is like this, surely it is not because of the denim.

But to add to this i think Sapporo would be good in early february, they have a snow festival there.

  5. I'm guessing you don't mean minimalist as in as little as possible. If you do i think the papua new guinean high countrymen are the absolute leaders in this field.

If thats not your style, get back to basics and don't spend a lot. If you listen to half of the people on hear, you'll have to start a second job just to afford one outfit.

Check out what you are wearing thread, some people pull off a understated look pretty well on here.

  6. you wouldn't have to do it every time you washed them. The treatment a pair of jeans goes through when being industrially washed is very harsh. Chemicals and very hot wash and hot dry. You would never subject it to this again.

This causes shrinkage but like i have said before denim contracts and expands because of the weave. You'll notice it the most around your waist because there is constant pressure there. The weave relating to the length won't expand unless you place pressure on it, this could be weight when hanging them to dry.

Then again, each denim reacts differently and black denim is generally less subject to shrinking and expanding, you might not get the 2" results that some of got from other denim

  7. No i am 34 usually.

You could always put them in water and then stretch them out, in a thread on here (can't find it) they get 2 inches out of some washed jeans.

  8. good point mr haptronic

i have been practising and i think i am confident enough to post to all you expert photographers.

Want to show you my pair i have been wearing in for about 4 months now, about to wash them for the first time. Might do that whole before after show that people have been getting into recently

I know its early as far as superfuture goes but i am going with imperials advice that after a few months its alright to wash them in cold water.

By the way haptronic i might be coming to new zealand soon, so i will look out for the guy in dukes, fat white shoes (tongue out) and some smooth sunnies. :{@

Yes, they are deadstock. Do you know if Imperial accept returns? I'll wait and see, but I really hope they do.

i really doubt it kboy, they don't even have an ecommerce shop front. When i ordered mine a while back i had to convince them i knew my size because they wouldn't do returns.

My advice put them on FS here i'm sure you'll get buyers judging by how many hits this thread is getting.
