  1. My 01s as of today, gonna throw them in the wash

Second photo has terrible lighting, sorry. Whiskers are pretty defined in real life, hard to capture with my phone

I feel like they're a few washes away from getting very light blue

    @scooby

    Drywall dust & dried mud?

Do you scrape off all you can before throwing in washer?

Nice to see jeans getting used...your denim can feel good about itself ;-)

Do your workmates give you alot of ribbing for wearing $200 jeans to work?

Both, actually. But mostly mud. This is mostly from today, I washed them two days ago :( lol

My workmates don’t know and I don’t think they would care

But I didn’t scrape them but brushed them to get the surface crust off

  3. Got my 510XXs hemmed, gave them another hot wash, wore them for a week. They fit 1,000,000 times better after that additional hot wash, especially in the top block :D

Definitely longer inseam than I typically wear but I’m pleased with the fit nonetheless

Does anyone have waist and rise measurements of a worn-in pair of 50s size 29 and/or 30?  I'm on the fence between the two sizes.  For reference, I wear a size 29 in FC 1108 (Zimbabwe cotton with stretching properties, maybe similar to TCB 50s?) and 30 in LVC ('47, '54, and '67).  Thinking of pulling the trigger on a pair of these very soon and likely having Inoue do the hem job.

    My size 30:

    Exactly 30 in the waist

Front rise 11.5, back rise 16

@scooby great to see some S510's! It's a great cut that deserves more attention.

They look great, but I have to say this: they either need a little more shrink, or maybe are a  size too big. Once you wear them for a while the denim will soften and drape more loosely. I like to iron my jeans when new after the first couple of washes - not so much as to get the wrinkles out but to get the fabric to relax a little and drape better. Regardless, after a couple weeks they'll soften.

Thanks! I love the cut. They definitely have more shrink in them but I also could’ve taken the size down. For jeans I plan on working in I prefer a little wiggle room.

I’ll try to post updates with each wash here every couple weeks or so.

  6. S510XX 19oz post soak fit. Threw them in the washer and dryer to shrink them up and they fit really well, just a little wrinkly from the dryer. Love this denim

  7. It’s getting hotter each day in California... TCB 50s and sneakers for the next few months seems like the move

Poor quality photo sorry, I’ll take some HQ stuff down the line

Probably the most comfortable pair of jeans to wear in the summer heat, can’t really see myself wearing anything else when it’s 90 out

I love Wescos scooby, including the Axe Breaker in horse.  What was it about the Lofgren boots that you weren't wild about -- fit related?

Wesco makes the best damn boots.

A few things about the Lofgren’s I’m not too wild about, mainly fit and comfort related. They’re great boots, don’t get me wrong... I still have a pair of the combat boots and they’re excellent

  9. Been wearing heavy work boots a lot lately (Wesco) and thought I deserved a pair of pretty boy boots for the weekends. Some good year welted Truman’s are what I went with :D

Sold two pairs of my Lofgren boots after finally deciding that I just wasn’t into them. Hoping these fill that void

@scooby, I have about 50 wears on mine and the denim is just getting better!

Crazy how I thought the details would be main thing I'd be drawn to... the denim is so good!

I've truly never loved a fabric this much

  11. Fit pic of my newly acquired S409XXX M-WW2s. Shout out to @Flash, and my lady for convincing me to purchase them from him. Shipped them so fast I didn’t even have to pretend like I wasn’t impatient :D Thanks again mate...

Worn with Eastman Lofgren type ii, Lofgren combat boots

Have a little under an inch of room in the waist which is perfect by my standards. Slimmest pair I’ve worn in a couple years but I’m loving it. Look great with sneakers and have just enough leg opening for engineer boots

Expect constant updates because these just ended my large rotation

They're a great pair! Have you washed them? They do look a bit big...

Washed twice, could probably get some more shrinkage out of them but I sized up to get a baggier fit. The photos make them look wonkier for sure, I’ll try and get some more/better photos up after another wash. I’ve got maybe an inch tops in the waist and I don’t really want them to shrink any more. I can’t really achieve the fit I’m looking for with these without the size up
