Chiming in on the Saddle Horn. Both look soooooo good. I'm seriously considering the ivory one once they're available.

So far no issues with the construction! It seems a lot more solid than my S710XXs (where the back pocket stitching started coming undone within a week) and looks more set to hold together.

There was so much I wanted to to like about the 710s but they always felt like a dense rug that faded well when I wore them. The S511NBK has all the charming details (tab/arcs, great back pocket shape) I wanted in a pair of Samurais, but in a better fabric (in my minority opinion) and in a fit I much prefer.

No complaints in terms of comfort - there's just enough room to comfortably move my legs, even with the somewhat rough 17oz fabric. Nothing like my IH-555s which literally made my legs go numb after gaining like, 5 pounds.

Just got a pair of the Samurai S511NBKs. So far these are awesome I like the fit more than my 710s and it's nice to have some black denim again since my black Iron Hearts no longer fit.

@smallrod They're a size 30. A little bit loose in the waist but no problem with a belt and the silhouette is perfect.

Here are some photos of my 727s. 5 months of daily wear since purchasing in August, with 3 soaks and 3 warm washes. I had been meaning to try a pair of these for years and I'm an idiot for waiting so long....

Gave my F2001s a wash yesterday and they are looking great on this cloudy day. I got these at the end of 2013 from SE (~3 years of actual wear) and don't really wear them too much anymore since they've gotten kinda delicate. I think they must have had close to 25 or 30 washes at this point. My apologies for the cell phone pic I've been meaning to take some actual photos of these for a while and keep forgetting.

Figure this as good of a place for a first post as any, so here is my ref. 1603 Rolex Datejust with my Stevenson 727s in the background.
