TBCs sized up are exactly what I have in mind for another 50s-style pair. I was thinking either a 34 or a 36 – what sizes did you take in both?

I tuck my tees 99% of the time so it's something I've just embraced as part of the journey. I wouldn't consider another pair unless they were to heavily revise the pattern, and in theory I would size up just for a little more width, though this pair still works with everything for me. I'm back to exploring higher and wider cuts at the moment (see my latest post in the TCB thread).

0105 after 18 months of regular wear. Pretty satisfied with these but unlikely to consider another pair due to the excessive back rise (you can see some fade lines on the yoke due to the sag). Something I pay more attention to now... still, they are the most comfortable jeans I've owned and a super versatile cut overall. Plenty of missing threads and some heavy wear on the cuffs. Not sure what size these are as the patch had a 33 but the inner tag has a 32 – anyone else have this on their pair? Peek-a-boo:

Looks great - perfect cut and exactly how this jacket is meant to fit imo. Now you've got me wanting to buy one, especially as my 161J is on the looser side these days.

Some loose yarns on the inner fly: A few quick fit snaps: After a small amount of wear I'm pretty sure that I've picked the correct size. We're in a heatwave here in London at the moment so my first outing in them was a brief one to the shops... here are measurements after a couple hours: Waist 42cm Front rise 32cm Back rise 40.5cm Hem 24.5cm

@cottonskinblues sweet progress, did you encounter much stretch/shrinkage? Any photos of them on? @okimoto tricky as I think the volume in the crotch/hip area is inherent to the cut. That shape in the leg looks sweet to me though. Just dropped mine off to be hemmed and will try and grab some photos when they’re ready.

Just took delivery of a pair of 30s jeans ordered from Bears. They're slightly snug in the waist but I'm hoping they will stretch to be just right. It would be great to see any worn-in pairs from owners here as there doesn't seem to be many floating around.
