I'll have to take some good shots of it before wearing it then and just hold out hope for that patch t shirt. Unfortunately that doesn't seem likely, though.

@Nayuta I'm sorry. My comments were meant to be lighthearted, not super serious. As I said, this is my favorite patch I've seen on a pair of jeans. I have no desire to have a different patch in any way. The patch is one of the reasons I'm so excited for the jeans. 

I can barely write legibly, let alone attempt to draw anything

That's awesome! I've gotten my brother sort of into it over time, especially after going to Japan with him twice. He has several RJB and Freewheelers shirts, some loopwheeled t shirts, and a jacket from RMC as well as some shoes from Motor and boots from White Kloud. He isn't going to join a forum any time soon, but he likes the clothing. My girl has recently gotten interested in all of this as well. I never pushed her toward it, but it's fun to share it with her now. I guess both of them just spent too much time with me and it rubbed off on them.

I love that patch, but am I the only one who is bothered by the prop setup on that plane? It's clearly modeled after a WWII single engine fighter/dive bomber/torpedo bomber(probably one of the latter two, given that there are two animals in the plane instead of only one), but then it has two extra props on the wings, but no engines and the center prop looks stationary.

Obviously this doesn't matter and it's still the best patch ever, but I can't help but think about that every time I see it

Depends on the watch as some are more proprietary than others. I believe you're thinking of their escapement called the "Nomos Swing System" which is proprietary, but it's only in their DUW calibers, not the Greek letter calibers.

Also , the Alpha movement is 'in house,' but is based off the Peseux 7001. I personally do not know how similar it is to its base movement and whether or not it can be serviced as easily, but I believe that there are enough parts that are not interchangeable to make it 'in house' and thus cannot be serviced in the same way.

I actually haven't rotated much at all in quite some time. For the most part, I've been wear my CSF 37s for nearly 3 years now. I do wear a couple of my other CSF jeans as well every once in a while, but that isn't very often. I don't even have all that many pairs of jeans. The big reason my jeans don't fade much is that I don't wear jeans while sitting around at home, I wear a lot of other chinos/trousers instead of jeans quite often, and I also cannot wear jeans to work. Hence, my jeans have probably 8 months of actual wear even though they've pretty much been the only jeans I've worn for nearly 3 years. 

Flat Head THC t shirts are indeed indestructible. I have problems with the necks sagging on most of my t shirts, but not on those. Only issue is they are so thick that they often are not the best choice during warm weather.

Gotcha. I can understand that even if I don't subscribe to that mindset myself. My jeans take forever to fade too because of work and the fact that I like wearing chinos and trousers a lot too. I still just let it happen naturally. My CSF 37's definitely do not look like they have been my main jeans for almost 3 years by now, but I'm OK with that.

I think your fades are pretty strong proof of how well not having any special method works.

I'm surprised people are still talking about using any special method at all during this era of vintage fade popularity. Do whatever you want of course, but I am surprised.

Yeah I sized down by a half and now I think I should have just gone TTS. If I get 70s, that's probably what I'll do.

Are all versions of Chucks so narrow? I got a pair of USA made Chucks from 2000 (I think) and they feel more narrow than my equivalent Chuck "copies" from Japanese brands and much more narrow than my PF Flyers. I'm wondering if the modern Chucks and 70s are the same way.

I participate in both and this is hilarious  It's pretty accurate IMO. There is no question that this forum is simply more active, even for those like myself who still post on both. Doubt this would cause offense to anyone on both.

I had just watched "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" before taking this walk... the Hawaiian shirt was a deliberate choice after loving Brad Pitt's style in the film. I don't pull it off as well, but I love this shirt.

My brother has Doeks and likes them a lot. As others have said, he takes the same size as he does in Vans. With a normal width foot it's pretty straightforward.
