  1. If you aren't following LVC on Instagram they recently started using the daily stories to post detail shots of the archive pieces that the F/W line will feature. There was a denim jumper a few days ago and some 1880s jeans today.

  2. Well it seems like once the current 660 stock is sold out at Blue In Green that will be it. I emailed them to see if any there would be any more production runs and there are no plans to make anymore.

  3. This sponsored/suggested post turned up on my Facebook feed today and I though anyone who has been following the TCB and Ranchman threads would get a kick out of who get the credit in this headline.

Thunderbolt is there haha. Apparently that's a mark of having used the dryer a good bit, and a classic feature of 60s cuts. My old pair doesn't have it and man it had been beaten hard for years, but never dried in a drier.

It's a cool little detail that I like. Resolute 710s produces some pretty amazing thunderbolt fades too...

You learn something every day. Here's one curtesy of my Sugar Cane 66 which was machine dried every time.

Anyone have experience with the banner denim in warmer, humid climates? Considering picking up the DD-1550 shorts, but if they may not breathe well it sort of defeats the purpose of wearing shorts for comfort anyways

Yeah I live in New Orleans where the heat and humidity isn't quite in South East Asian levels but worse than the majority of America. I have a few banner denim pieces (1105, 1001, 2002x) and I find them to be warmer than some of the Sugar Cane denim I have ('09, '66). You can make it work, but I find myself washing more often once the summer hits (which is basically now). If you want some warm weather Warehouse check out the cotton/linen models.

Side note... I really don't know how the guys in Indonesia and Thailand do it. I've been told the worst New Orleans day is just a regular day there, and the worse day here is pretty insufferable. Their fades are pretty extreme, but from my experience with denim and humidity those guys must have some really disgusting pairs of jeans.
