  1. The high water look can be cool with the right sneaker or a really nice hem, but the trend of guys cuffing their jeans (usually a slim cut and pinrolled) so high that they can show off their entire boot and a few inches of sock never, ever looks cool. Scroll through a couple of the Red Wing tags or popular raw denim accounts on Instagram if you aren't familiar with the look.

Is the 2002xx type 2 jacket more of a boxy fit (even after a soak)?

My size 42 2002xx measures 22.25in / 56cm pit to pit and and 26.5 in / 68 cm from the top of the collar to the bottom. Here's a fit from a few months ago worn with the C/L 800s

Did anyone pick up the 1105 LTD on here? don't see that many pics of them around..

I also got a pair a few months ago. I really hope Warehouse keeps this fit their rotation because I think it's one of the better straight/tapered jeans to hit the market recently. If these had hidden rivets and a button fly I don't think I would need any other jeans.

Here's my 1105s with about 45 days of wear.

  4. I actually did the same thing. The BiG holiday discount was burning a hole in my pocket so I decided to pick up the Kaigai 800s and keep my cotton/linen 800s as summer jeans. My 1105s and c/l 800s are both size 34, but I sized up to 36 to get a better fit in the top block. The c/l version is 800 is also cut a little larger in the same size, which is why I can wear a 34. I washed and air dried them twice and the fit works for me. I'll try to get a fit pic up soon.

  5. Thanks y'all. This jacket is a 42 and length measures 25.5in/65cm down the back, so it's shorter than the Fullcount and TCB alternatives. I suspect there might be more shrinkage since this is Warehouse and I ordered it raw and washed/air dried it.

For reference I have a Mister Freedom Ranch Blouse in a 40 that fits like the picture below. The 2002xx has about a .5 inch of room everywhere and is overall a better fit for me. The longer sleeves on the 2002xx actually fit me perfectly.

  6. Thanks for the responses. The 1105 looks more what I'm after. Does Warehouse shrink to tag size?

Yeah. My size 34 1105s measure 35in/89cm at the waist after some wear.

  7. Type 1 is a size 40 and I did a hot wash and tumble dry; measurements are as follows after a full day of wear:

    Shoulder to shoulder 18.25"

    Pit to Pit 21.5"

    Shoulder seam to sleeve 24.25"

Top of collar to bottom 26"

    Arm opening at shoulder 9.5"

Thanks. I just got my confirmation on a 2002xx. I opted for a 42 as it looks to be cut a little slimmer than the 2001.

  8. pre wash photos. Love this jacket. can't say that enough. My first experience with the banner denim and I love it. I can't wait to see how this jacket ages with a multitude of washes and daily wear.

Can I get some measurements once your jacket dries?

And in other denim jacket news, it looks like Warehouse has a blanket lined 2001 coming out soon.

  9. which size (raw) shall i pick if my normal jeans measure around 90 cm (or ~ 35.4 ") in the waist? thanks a lot guys!

    34. I have the same size waist and both I have both the 1105 and c/l 800 in 34.

  10. What are the sizes and pit to pit measurements on y'alls jackets? I want to pick up the 2000 or 2002xx, and I suspect I'm going to need a 42. Did Warehouse ever restock the 2000 jacket for F/W 2016? They featured each of the jackets on a blog post earlier this summer, but the stock status of the 2000 never moved from SOLD OUT.

  11. 800 C/L with 3 months and 3 washes. There's not much color change overall, but a nice snowy texture is starting to show through and some electric blues are popping out of the train tracks.

  12. Foxy and Cusswords, how are you getting on with your cotton/linen pairs? Would be nice to see how they shape up.

I'm somewhere between 60 and 70 wears on my pair and the overall shade of blue is starting to lighten up while some whites are popping out of the train tracks and slubs. The creases are pretty sharp even after washing them twice, and the leg below the knee is still very hairy.  Given the current popularity of highly textured denim I really think the C/L is flying under the radar and I try to recommend them to people as much as possible.

How often are you washing your C/L pair? I just got a pair of the 1001 C/L and they are quite nice.

I wash as needed, which is once a month since I live in a very hot and humid place. I'm curious to see what this denim would look like if someone took a high contrast approach to wash and wear. The texture on this denim could yield some realyl ridiculous results.

  13. 800 C/L at two months with two washes (as well as the factory wash). There's not much evo to speak of, but I want regularly update the new C/L denim. I bought these along with the 1105 last May. I wear these 4-5 times a week and the 1105 once or twice. I don't know the official weight of the C/L denim but it's noticeably lighter in weight than the 13.5oz 1001. It's a few shades darker than the 1001 and still very hairy.
