  1. My buddy from Chicago remarked recently that he saw someone wearing a jacket that read 'Moose Knuckles' and was wondering if he had misread or it was some kind of joke... unfortunately they're quite common in Canada and to their ideal customer it's not a joke.
  2. Speaking to a local shopkeeper here a while ago he said they had to cease carrying orSlow because too many folks complained about the leg twist, you can explain it to people in the most levelheaded and rational fashion but they just don't get it.
  3. I wasn't even trying to 'call you out' or anything, in fact of all the still extant fashion forum/communities I'd consider this one of the few that has enough OG's that there'd be a bit stronger cross-subcultural understanding. Rick Owens is fully independently owned and operated, I don't care how goofy people look in his clothes, when they buy from him they're supporting somebody who is doing it his own way and with his own vision, that's what's dope.
  4. I've got two pairs of Rick Owens trousers, both bought at attractive discounts locally and neither black! They're great for days I don't want to wear a belt, with a sweat fleece or a leather jacket. I always find pushback against designer brands in spaces like this funny, it's a very thin line that's being walked between brands that are designer and brands that somehow get psychologically excluded from that category... for the record the MIJ Rick stuff is quite nice, especially the leathers but I realised many years ago the sneakers aren't for me.
  5. for me; BR 15/medium = Warehouse 38, but I would buy a 16 next time for a looser fit. Between a Sugar Cane flannel and a Buzz Rickson chambray I found the pattern essentially identical.
  6. This subreddit is just embarrassing.. one time I was organising some of my clothes in storage for listing and snapped a few pics of my denim and indigo items that were down there as well and my post was deleted for... buying and selling... even though I essentially reiterated what I just said here. Another time I offhand said the mods pander to inexperienced users and got banned for 30 days, reached out to the mods and they said i was cyberbullying!! I was a moderator on a fashion forum many times larger than that subreddit for a good few years, never once did I ever think I was being cyberbullied, that was just absurd to me. When the mods delete cool unique items but leave up posts of people showing off their absurd accumulation of items that all fit the same and are perfectly unfaded, well it's just embarrassing!
