I couldn't even imagine being more satisfied with my (regular-arm) Grizzly, it's the only jacket I've worn for like the past month. I recommend picking up a pair of Ande's jeans to go with the jacket, nothing says business quite like an Ande tux.

I don't have a ton of experience, but I usually try to hold out until I start to get worried about a crotch blowout, then I cold wash, hang dry, and reinforce the crotch. Haven't really had to deal with a second real wash yet as I tend to rotate.

Ordered a 32, looking to switch to a 31 or 30, anybody want to trade..?

garden gnomes, what dryer settings did you use? I've been tempted to throw mine in the dryer, but I've been worried it would shrink too much. It sounds like you didn't have that problem?

Looks good! So did you size-up twice, then for the XL? I was going to go with the same size as my w+h tiger fleeces, but everyone's saying to size-up. from the measurements on SelfEdge, it seems like with shrinkage, it'll fit about the same, though.
I have the exact same hoodie, black XL, and I went up one size from the perfect pre-wash fit. I'm normally a medium in most T-shirts and shirts, I ordered a large hoodie, it fit perfectly, so I sent it back for an XL. Cold washed the XL, hung it up to dry, and if fit almost exactly like the large did pre-wash - perfectly. Hope this helps.

Haha that's a price I'm willing to pay. An afternoon spent drinking beer and learning about denim from some of the most knowledgeable guys around sounds pretty good to me.

Thanks kiya, I definitely plan on spending plenty of time there this summer (if my wallet can handle the temptation).

I've got an internship in New York this summer, and I'm pretty pumped to make my first (and second, and third...) visit to Self Edge. Are there any summer events or sales that I can look forward to at SENY? Or is that still a secret..?

Beatle - I'll be competing in the MBBs, but would I be able to order a pair of bybeatles anyway? I'd hate to miss the boat on such a unique jean.

Hey, do you mind sharing the measurement across the waist? TIA!
This is Africa?

I'm not small or skinny, and I have pretty athletically built legs as I play hockey, but I've had no issue with my WG rise. Perhaps because I went TTS instead of the traditional SD2? The pockets are of course another issue.. Waaay too tight to begin with.

I keep pushing my stacks down whenever I stand up, which I think is slowly helping them set. I'm a student as well, so about the same, although I did some shoveling in them while I was home. I've had them cuffed since I got them, but I don't ever plan on wearing them uncuffed so I'm not too worried about the line fade that's already forming. I wish I had a real camera to capture some of the electric blue fading, looking at that pic you'd think they were brand new..

thanks ill be updating this weekend when it reaches 200 wears. nope i dont think ill be washing them any time soon, maybe in another year or more. i mainly wear these from oct- april and then when it gets too hot i wear my frank2s. that ends up making me able to wear them even longer without wash. i wore uniqlos before these and i kept them unwashed for 3 years.
maybe, MAYBE ill soak them so the crotch doesnt blow out but dont have anything planned yet
I'm at around 100 wears with my ele2s and they're looking pretty comparable to yours at around 90-100, so yours might be a pretty good preview of what I'm in for. I still feel like my stacks haven't fully settled yet though, how are yours feeling?

TooAwesome, I was checking out your ele2 blog, pretty sweet stuff. Im assuming based on the evo that you haven't washed or soaked, correct? Just wondering when you plan on giving them their first wash.

Thanks okisan. How long have you had yours? I'd love to see some evo pics if it's starting to show wear

Natural will stretch a lot, you can definitely get the middle hole fit you want with a natural belt.

I'd love to see somebody wear in the burgundy chromexcel. I saw the pair posted on this page of styleforum http://www.styleforu...ts-thoughts/630 and fell in love. The brass eyelets and tan leather laces look great.
That pic won me over, CXL it is! It helps that they're configured exactly how I plan on getting mine.

Awesome, I just picked up a pair to beat on, and I want to end up with the fit you've got. Mine are about skin tight right now, so that's good to hear.
