  1. After doing a ton of research, I'm thinking that the 2109s are definitely going to be my next pair of jeans. The only problem is I just started on some ele2s, and I have some other random pairs on the back burner that I wear a couple times a week - basically I can't really add another pair to the rotation. Should I cop the 2109s now and and store them until I'm ready to start wearing them, or can I reasonably expect to be able to find a pair to buy in like a year's time?

  2. people with e2: how is the sizing once the denim breaks in? does the heavy weight stretch at all? i am considering some e2 or ub 21oz and wonder how to size . . .

I bought mine as tight as I could fit on (after about a half hour of work..), and after about a week and a half of wear I could slip them on without too much effort and move pretty comfortably. I probably could have gotten away with another size down, but I wanted a slim-not-skinny fit. So yeah, it'll stretch, and faster than you'd think given the stiffness and weight.

  3. Here's a fit pic of my new ele2 weirdguys in 30. Thanks for the fit advice, the 30s were definitely the right call. It took about a half hour to get them on, and another fifteen to button them (using pliers), but once I got them on I could tell that it was the right fit -tight but not constricting, and they should stretch to be perfect. Apologies for the cell phone pic.

  4. I think you can get away with 30's to avoid waist alterations. The jeans should give in the thigh but it'l take some perseverance on your part. You might consider posting pictures if you want better suggestions.

Thanks, I'll pull the trigger on a pair and post pics when they come in.

  5. Hey guys, longtime lurker, had a question about fit. I normally wear a 30 waist (actual waist size 30 inches), but when I tried on Greencast WeirdGuys last month, I couldn't even pull the 30s on because the thighs were too tight (I play hockey so I have pretty big thighs - 23 inches just standing relaxed). The 31s fit pretty tight in the thighs, but the waist wasn't tight at all (not really loose either though). I ended up buying them, and after about a month they've stretched out a bit, and I wish they were a bit tighter fitting, especially the waist which is loose now. I'm going to keep beating up on them for another 6 or 7 months, then get the waist tailored before I give them their first cold wash, but I was wondering what I should do for my next pair (probably ele2s) - if I got the 30s and wore them around the house for a few months, would the thighs eventually stretch enough to pull them on all the way, or am I stuck buying 31s and getting the waist tailored after awhile?

Just bumping my post, anybody have any info about N&F thigh stretch, specifically ele2 weirdguys? What can I expect - canI get away with buying the 30s?
