No wash for me yet, but I've only been wearing my pair since August. Planning my first wash for the spring most likely.

Thanks BK, I've been wanting one for awhile and I'm pumped the fit turned out so well. And Broark, I wish I hadn't waited as long as I did to pick one up, jump on it mate!

Got the sawtooth a few weeks ago with my christmas money but I messed up my sizing and just now got the exchange. Ended up going with my usual size in the end, and I'm glad I did. It's cut a little slimmer in the waist and the shoulders, but the same in the chest and a bit longer in the arms then my other size 42 westerns.
I like the fit:
Tough to really see, but its pretty hairy:
Cool detail shot I liked:

Looks more like the 3012 to me

Thanks Kiya. I'm planning an order pretty soon to pick up some of the new FH stuff, so I'll shoot you guys an email when I do to see if it can all be shipped together to save trouble.

Random question, but is there anywhere that I might be able to buy hooks like the ones used to hang the jeans in SE stores?

It's worked well for me at least - last year brought me a Strike Gold hoodie and an Ande Whall jacket...

Just wanted to thank everybody at Rivet & Hide for their outstanding customer service. My mom (I mean, "Santa") bought me two FH shirts for Chritmas and said she was blown away by how great the shop was to deal with. Here's a couple pics of the goods, thanks again guys for helping to make Christmas morning so great.

I'm a bit late posting this as I received the shirt over a week ago, but thanks again Aaron (aka tvshooter) for letting me know he was selling some FH shirts in my size. I picked up this shirt at a great price, he shipped it to me immediately, and I had it before I knew it:
And a fit pic:
Santa also did some shopping at TFH and I found these under my tree on Christmas morning:
And the fit pics:
Everything is size 42. The buffalo check flannel might be my new favorite article of clothing ever, it is ridiculously soft and warm. I've been told that Santa shopped at Rivet & Hide and was absolutely blown away by their outstanding customer service, so cheers to them and happy holidays!

Nice looking ink FL. Coincidentally, my jeans accompanied me to get a tattoo as well recently, my first. It's part of my family crest:
Also wanted to share a few other random pics of what my jeans and I have been up to recently, here's my dad and I snowblowing in the middle of the night:
Some foodporn (dry smoked ribs, pulled pork, cornbread, baked beans, plenty of sauce, and a nice cold beer):
And finally two of my favorite christmas gifts (more pics in the FH thread):
Cheers, champs

i believe that the indigo dyed ones aren't supposed to shrink anymore, especially with a cold wash (i think they're washed once + the dying process shrinks them)
That is correct, the hoodie I was referring to is a black one. Interestingly, I think the indigo ones are actually more able to stretch out a bit with wear, as they've been shrunk to their absolute max.

That's interesting, I actually noticed about a half-size worth of shrinkage when I cold-washed and hung-dry my SG hoodie. I originally bought a large which fit perfectly, but exchanged it for an XL when I got scared about shrinkage. The XL was a bit big at first, but after washing it fit very slghtly larger than the large did, which I was happy with.

A healthy distance away haha. I was a bit paranoid about drying out the leather or messing with the waxed finish, so I put them close enough to warm up without heating up!

Great post. Enjoy your holidays!
Thanks Max, same to you!

Put the boots through their paces today, and they more than rose to the occasion - my feet stayed warm and dry all day long.
Pretty big blizzard last night:
Led to this:
And at the end of the day, this:
The waxed leather didn't absorb much moisture, but they're currently drying out near a roaring wood fire. Cheers, and happy holidays champs!

Challenge 4: Changing Seasons Denim: No better representation of the changing seasons than the first blizzard of the year combined with cutting down the family christmas tree.

Checking in with my first update of the comp, only a couple months wear at this point. The leather is a waxed roughout, any advice on caring for it?
And the details:

Not a ton going on, but it was sunny out so I figured I'd snap some pics. Been about 3-4 months, no washes or soaks.

I'm about to pull the trigger on the FH Sawtooth denim shirt, but the sizing looks a little different from the other westerns and it seems like I'm in between a 42 and a 44. Is this a shirt that people usually size up in? I normally wear a 42 in the westerns.

Hmm, might have to reevaluate my plans to wash then, I wonder how many have yet to wash or soak.
