  1. Bape - lame as fuck, literally who buys bape

    Supreme - boring, unimaginative brand

Jordan - make the ugliest sneakers that aren't sketchers

Balmain - a high fashion brand that actually sells t-shirts with hashtags non-ironically. No more needs to be said

SLP - I actually like the fit of the clothes but not worth the hype for what is essentially topman meets charity shop with better quality materials imo

Yeezy - 350s and 750s are nice but no brand can really justify the attention that yeezy has received, plus the clothes are very basic

Off-White - really nothing amazing so far as silhouettes, and based on what friends have told me materials aren't great

Alexander Wang - if beige were a brand this would be it

Louboutin - nice shoes (for women) but really I don't see anything too amazing about them, especially compared to Iris van Herpen and the like

Stone Island - don't think this is huge in the US but in the UK I see bare people going on and it's just boring clothes with a compass on them

Givenchy - liked what Hubert de Givenchy did but not fond of the direction Tisci has taken the brand, too easy

Could probs think of a few more but I think I should stop here aha

cringe every time I read this

  2. Demna was such a weird choice for Balenciaga, doesn't match the brand at all

tbh but it's just an ever so slightly """"adult"""" Vetements

I think his vision is too strong/concrete to be modified for a brand other than his own

edit: I really like some of the looks, especially the down jackets but not really the generic a-line floral dresses or leather trenches which have already been done in other collections and look straight out of a second hand store in eastern Europe and the Mormon plaid dresses

  3. 95 percent of people don't get that reference though

Sure you can draw reference to Soviet gym class with standard issue running shorts, school shirts with party iconography  but that's not the issue

His collections, in what they draw from inspiration wise is on a downward slope tbh

It used to be subtle and using style references from skateboarding, raving etc. but now it's just straight up "CYRILLIC FONT, RUSSIAN FLAG, SOVIET UNION" and is just what every other corny """"""fashion"""" """""""enthusiast"""""""" on Instagram is masturbating over right now

  4. The older 2011-2012 graphics were neato like the winged victory, vikin, trasher burzum reputation but all the new stuff is to appeal to retarded "dude Russian alphabet lmao"

It's just the updated version of when everyone had black shirts with kanji

  5. I would only go to Singapore if I was in Malaysia and wanted to kill a couple days. Beyond the hawker stands and a couple of tourist attractions (night zoo, a couple museums, ethnic quarters) it's pretty sterile and dull

HK is great and you can easily spend more than 7 days there, not only on tourist attractions but good bars, food and suff

I went in August and if you're used to Southern/South East Asian humidity and heat it's the same. Pretty brutal at first but not really a big deal and you get used to it fast
