Every time I go shopping, either online or in person, I end up with another pair of running shoes. I don't want to pay up for anything good until I'm at a better weight, and I've got no time for buying poorly made stuff....

Well, when the LVC 501s I ordered from those f**ckers in San Francisco came out to almost CDN500, SOMEONE is making money.

Interested to see what kind of fades other people can get with the Aizumis. I've had mine back on for a couple more weeks and nothing. 

Well, looking at the other end of the spectrum, do you know how much bulbous guys sweat? You gotta get that wick'd!

I'm a runner, and as much as I appreciate the aesthetics of the classic (grey) cotton shirt and shorts, or grey sweatpants, if you've ever run more than a few kilometres on a hot summer day, you'll know why technical gear has its place. COTTON WILL FUCK YOU UP.

But yeah, tech gear should only be worn when it has a purpose or you live in a city where you could legit drop everything and go do a mountain climb or sea kayak at a moment's notice, like Vancouver.

@aho - I love the Tudor. I've got a 7" wrist and it fits well. The thickness that everyone goes on about isn't a bother to me. I could do without the mirror finish on the sides of the case.

I get the 58's popularity, but much too much gilt for me.

Friend of mine got a Batman on the weekend, so they do appear. Still can't take the ceramic bezel, or perhaps it's the horrible font they chose for the bezel.

Check your file extension. Apple has started using .HEIC which seems to be causing problems. Change the extension to .jpeg and it should work (I usually have to downgrade the image before the site accepts it, too)

Well, after more than a full month of daily wear - at least 10k biking a day + three full washes, my Aizumis are starting to show some colour. 

I'm in a death spiral of doom with UPS trying to return the LVCs I impulse bought a few pages back. With duties and the UPS brokerage fee (read: pointless cash grab) the jeans were going to end up at close to CDN600.

I've phoned UPS three times now to tell them I'm refusing the package, but so far they refuse to return to sender...

I've found that I get the most wear out of 16+oz here in Toronto. Wear them from October through April. You can go lighter May, June and the second half of September, but during the summer proper it's too humid.

I also walk/cycle all winter.

40oz jeans sound way OTT, but I'd try a Type 3 in that weight.

I just sold off the majority of my collection, and had my work situation been a bit better this year, I'd be getting a 1675 or 1016, which are dream watches for me.

A birth year DJ with roulette date wheel also fits the bill.

Because I trust shipping companies about as far as I can throw a UPS truck and I'm not super fond of sending $5k to someone I've only met on the internet :-)
