  2. I had a look at a pair of TH today in the flesh, unfortunately they didn't have my size so I can't comment on fit, and yes as mentioned here you def. have to go up a size due to the pre -shrink. They were fine but I wouldn't call them anything special. I actually think Sugar Cane's are a lot better denim for a lot less money. My two pence - don't shoot the messenger!

  3. thanks for your replies.

Blue in Green measure the Cisco 5P as true to size - a 34 measures 34. the leg opening is only 8.25" so quite tapered.

On the TH 5P a 34 measures 32". A 36 measure 33.5" with a leg opening of 9" - they look a straighter fit so they would be the ones I would go for.

How do you like the denim, the pictures look very similar to Sugar Cane and they are made from the same cotton as SC - Zimbabwe Cotton! Even the buttons are rusty - just like the Canes!

  4. I am thinking about purchasing my first pair of Kapital jeans; either the Cisco or the TH 5 Pocket.

Are the Cisco a skinnier cut than the TH? I want something that is not to slim fitting.

Do the TH come up small on the waist? I am reading measurements on Blue and Green and a 34 TH measures 32 across the waist?

    Thanks.

  5. What is the difference between the Tender Bank Note Shirt, Tender Ticking Stripe Long Sleeve Shirt and the previous Ticking Tail Shirts?

I can see the buttons have changed but is the cut and fit basically the same?

  6. From what I can see UNIQLO no longer offer a selvedge denim jean in the UK. They did have a selvedge denim and I think there was a thread here about them – sounded like they were actually quite good for the money (£40). They still use a Japanese made denim for some of their jeans but these are not 100% cotton, more like 70% cotton mixed with poly – doesn't sound great!
