That blog post was cool, almost forgot how light the patches used to be. Looks great Flash.

I do in fact have giraffe legs and the 0901 are very tempting with the roomier fit. All my current pairs can't stretch enough to match my growing beer gut. Might get irresponsible with the credit card later tonight...

Those are incredible.
Currently going through the arduous and painful process of stretching these the 2-3" that I need after a trip though the machine. It's always a shock when I pull them out, the waist looks so damn tiny. This denim is something else.

6 months. Hit water 5 or 6 times.
One of the many irregularities that has come out with time.

Everybody is killing it. Will get a 6 month update up in a few days.

Those TCBs are incredible, beautiful color and a pretty much ideal fit for my taste's. Always tough for me to get a fit like that being tall.

Not sure I've posted a pic showing the fit on these since Sept 1st. These have gotten pretty tight up top, not quite as evident in this front pic though. Been wearing my Oki's lately on days I want that more relaxed fit.
Jyoni is not allowed in any more Sufu contests, it's not even fair. And I've never had the pleasure of having In And Out, but when it comes to fast food the regional chains always seem to be the best.

That picture of Spongebob picture cracked me up, what a strange thing to see. This time last year I was working in a restaurant with Chinese chefs and that was some incredible eating... Flash, I'm jealous. Maybe I'll celebrate by working on my egg and tomato stir fry, I recently tried my hand at it after missing it desperately from when aforementioned Chinese chefs would cook it for employee meals.

I was all set to give my pair a couple months without seeing water and then I had to go and spill a ton of vinaigrette for a salad on them in some spastic moment that I still can't explain. Excellent.
Good stuff on this page everybody.

I... can't remember. I want to say yes but it's been a while since I've been in there unfortunately. There's a couple good places where I am but they're strictly Eastern NC, some variety would be nice - at the least a place that does Texas sliced brisket well.

Thanks guys. Our oldest cat is an ice cold killer, he could probably take down a small deer or something (nah, just kidding).
Jyoni, you've got my mouth watering. Growing up in NC I'm a fiend for pulled pork but a sliced brisket sandwich with all the fat and bark left on just can't be beat. If I had a dream job it would be in the BBQ business. My uncle has had success opening up a couple places beginning in the 90's and most recently opened one up with my Dad. I helped my Dad out and worked there on and off for the first couple years it was open and we were fortunate enough to get a spot on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives not long ago. Here's my Dad coming out as a gigantic Wu-Tang fan on national TV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yc0lAoBBjBc

Thanks for the kind words.

It's my weekend so I'm going to cram in all my updates while I can... here's a couple more 5 month macro shots.
Button is showing a little bit of wear.
And and a new addition as of yesterday, Kumiko (like the character from Murakami's Wind Up Bird Chronicle)

Rescues. Long since retired. A couple years of pretty regular wear and a lot of washes. My first pair of selvedge.

Aho, I'm in Wilmington, NC, on the coast near the border of NC/SC. Moved here last summer. It's a combination of a college/historic/beach town. I didn't grow up here but I did grow up in eastern North Carolina, just a couple hours away, so it's been nice returning to the area.

Things have cooled down back to winter temperatures recently, but a couple weeks ago we had temperatures in the mid 70's. Great for wondering around this relatively new city that I live in.
Some parrot hanging outside a lingerie shop downtown that nearly bit my girlfriend.
The downtown area is on a river and this the bridge to the next town over, a very rural area. Considering moving to the other side of the bridge very soon to get a large house with lots of space for very cheap. I'm a country/rural kind of a guy I suppose.
And threads starting to wear on the pockets.

I'm definitely excited to see the results from all these different approaches. I love that people are holding out, I've never been able to do that with any pair of raw/selvedge I've ever owned. Always get bored on a day off and think "I wonder what would happen if I washed..." Along those lines, I wonder what would happen if I went one month with weekly washes. Maybe I'll save that experiment for the summer when the heat kicks in and things a get a little more... damp.

The OA is beautiful. @ 3 months, from the Ooe blog (oops, edited)

Non-contest pic... that OA fabric at 3 months...
Woooooooooooooooooooow.

I really think I'm getting too fat for my pair already... damn it.

Thanks man. Watching all these pairs age over the last few months has been awesome, not even 1/3 of the way there! Lots of good stuff to come.

Edited with some more shots. Full on natural light and in the shade.

Do it! Mine hit the dryer for the first time two nights ago, as much as i've been washing i was still wary of a dryer cycle. Put them in on low and pulled them out 20 minutes in because the patch didn't look like it could take any more.

So as it stands right now people are still joining up right? Will someone please, please, please make a post saying the contestant list is closed. If I have to go another hour with it open I'm going to end up doing something very financially irresponsible haha. These jeans are something else.

Yea, that's what keeps me from picking them up.
