That's awesome Ray.  It'd be great to see them keep this up during the second half unlike in recent years. I wish I lived near a big league ballpark, only have some college summer league ball nearby. The Braves were going to build a park for a minor league affiliate here but it got voted down during last fall's elections. Would have been incredible because their my team but oh well, we really do need some new roads I suppose.

It's definitely a special place. Really small, cash only (they supposedly had their original cash register until a few years ago), and they only sells glazed donuts. Best damn donuts I've ever had.

 

Today is the first day back in my contest pair in a while. Everybody is killing it too, loved catching up on the updates over the past couple pages.

Lots of wildlife but there was one particular animal that I was hoping to see that I thought I might miss. On our way out though we saw a group gathering by the water to check out this guy.

Owned them since fall '11 with very sporadic wear until about 1.5 months ago.

These are definitely good jeans for hot weather. It's just about 90 degrees here and I'm surprisingly comfortable. No humidity today, but still a good sign.

Too many beers. I thought with the way I sized I accommodated for that scenario, not the case unfortunately.

Probably about 10 wears in the past month or month and a half, it's breaking my heart. But since we have crossed the halfway mark I wanted to get something up even though now much has changed.

And I meant to to put this up a couple weeks back. Just taken with my cell so the colors aren't totally there, but a comparison of the swatch of fabric and the knee of my pair.

Been moving (up three flights of stairs) since last Friday. Pretty cookie-cutter type of place, but got it's bigger than the last and was a great deal.

Lots of golf courses here in coastal Carolina and this complex happens to sit next to one. My balcony is exactly where most golfer's tee shots land on this particular hole. I spent this morning watching some guy hit that tree a couple times with his second and third shots, just getting frustrated as hell. Good entertainment. Not much time in the jeans lately, still just too damn snug.

Honestly didn't even know they opened a second, companion building. Really cool. You learn something new everyday, I'll have to check that out.

The next time you fly into Dulles you should swing by my Uncle's BBQ restaurant just a few miles away and get some food pics up. [/shamelessfamilyplug]

Great pic of the metro, brings back some memories of riding it when I was younger. I used to pester any family member I could to take me to the Air and Space museum when I would be up that way visiting my Mom's family. Food looks incredible, as always.

Yeah I went with a 38", really just because I finally had the chance to get a pair of repros with a slightly longer inseam than normal. Inseam on that pair is 35" so I do have a little more flexibility when it comes to cuffing which is really nice. My Warehouses hit the machine hard and they never ended up too short, the high rise goes a long way in offsetting the inseam. They don't sag by any means but are certainly worn a little lower than others may wear.

Hogg, I'm 6'5" and have some 1001xx 15th anniversary and while the inseam isn't ideal I get by. My footwear is pretty much strictly low top sneakers and I really think the (almost) too short inseams of the repro brands pair well.

Haven't worn my pair in a week or two, honestly just too tight. Okis have taken their place, and while they're equally tight in the waist the Okis have a much roomier top block. It's amazing/frightening what a desk job and the slowing metabolism of your mid 20's can do to your waistline.

Had a fun weeked, older sister got married and it was a great time with family. A few too many Jack and gingers means a lost phone and no documentation. Fortunately I don't have to be back at work until Thursday, this is shaping up to be a multi-day hangover.
