shrinkage is minimal after a warm or hot soak, and the denim is pretty forgiving so it'll easily stretch back out after shrinking down.
i've got a 32.5" waist on most of my jeans after wear. i bought a 30" in AW's which measured a bit under 31" after a warm soak. they were snug at first everywhere after soaking but stretched out without too much fuss or bother.
that help?

my 21oz iron hearts are much more comfortable heat-wise in summer than my 14.5oz flat heads. weight is pretty irrelevant. i think a lot could be down to the cotton used.

why the hell are you trying to starch a pair of jeans? and Nudie's no less....
just wash & wear.
why does everybody think jeans need 'special' treatment?

i'm not really counting colabs, as half the time it's instigated by somebody else, in this case probably self edge.
kevlar jeans? kind of a novelty no? kind of like naked & famous scratch & sniff, but less shit...
fender is a good reference, but given how great fh's denim is it'd be cool to see them do something else with it other than the same cuts they've been making for the last 4 years or so.
whatever.. i'm happy to be proven wrong, i just feel they're resting on their laurels a bit.

Lots of sweet FH stuff in this month's issue of Daytona Bros. It talks about the 3001-A, which is a 3001 with natural indigo mixed in the dye, and the 2011, a 20-oz version of the 3001 with red and white back pocket embroidery and other new details. Both look totally sick. There are also tons of FH shoes and pictures of stuff that Kobayashi-san and friends wear, including his deerskin leather pants, RJB stuff, and a big two-page spread on FH wallets.
having seen the 20oz 3001 in person, i can say it's nothing amazing. it's the 3001 in a heavier denim with different colour thread on the arcs - not exactly anything to write home about.
i'm surprised about FH's (apparent) reluctancy to do anything new. they've been sitting on the same range of jeans for a long time now. it's nice denim granted but..... you know, the same as it has been for years. rather than expand a range of sub brands (Glory Park, Gotta Roll, Googies) i reckon they should expand apon the actual Flat Head range.

like he said - phone order.
self edge online doesn't cover stock from all stores, if you need something from seny you'll have to get in touch with them directly - no website. email works too if the time difference doesn't work out.

illest - sorry dude but your local options are what they are, and no amount of aussies on this forum is gonna change that. i don't like it either but that's the way it is unless you open your own store.

as i mentioned, half-sleeve in sydney have imperials. every time i've been in they've had heaps in stock.

34/32 34.0 32.0 leg 10.0 knee 7.5 thigh 10.5
have you looked at the sizing for Imperials on Self Edge? i doubt whether either of these cuts would be what you're after judging by your Nudie measurements

measure your jeans & go from there.

Corlection in Sydney sells Strike Gold, Pure Blue Japan, Momotaro, Japan Blue, Levi's. Half-Sleeve in Sydney sells Imperial.
That's about all i know of.

Wow! Great fit!
I'm actually planning on picking up a pair of Ande Whall Mustangs and I'd like them to fit like yours. How tall are you, if you don't mind me asking?
Thanks.
i'm not tall at all, about 5ft 6-7". i ended up buying a pair of Cobra's in place of these as i thought the fit would be better (see the shots before your post). my Mustangs are for sale (30x32) for $180 shipped.

thought i'd share a shot of my Cobra's after 4-5 days of wear. denim has softened & settled nicely.
these things are gonna fade beautifully.

i'm generally a 32" waist, so i got the 30's which have a 31" waist, which will stretch out to where i need it without too much fuss. post some pics when you get them

oops. edited. these are a 30x32.

practically new mustangs for sale in the market.

cobra fit pics after a warm soak. denim is still a bit stiff, so is bunching up a bit, but that'll right itself with wear.
this is the fit i was after when i bought some mustangs a month or so back. i was on the fence between the two cuts when i originally pulled the trigger, but guess i should have gone the cobra from the start as it's closer to the iron heart 301s silhouette (which is my favourite).

Depends on your build. Most people go TTS on BSP's. Sizing down one is not impossible BUT......
