What kind of prewear care do you recommend mike? Haven't got an email about mine yet but I can't wait.

i feel the same way, setterman and that's what I really like about warehouse. they focus on classic, high quality denim without any of the extras. of the different warehouse denim i've seen and felt, it always stands out.
i don't own any lvc denim, but of the pairs i have seen i feel like warehouse gets closer to the perfect levis repro in terms of quality and fit.

truth spoken. warehouse just might be my favorite japanese repro brand. i love them so much i bought another pair of 1000xx because I couldn't stand the fact I couldn't wear my smaller pair.

man, now I feel bad for recommending you go for a 40. is it really that baggy on you? it's a pretty fitted jacket, but i can understand the shoulders being a bit long.

I surely will. Going to try them on again after work and make a tough decision.

^Sad to hear....DId they shrink down even further from BiG's measurements? Thinking I should give mine a soak...
BTW kimi, god bless those jeans...Any other pics?
seems like they did. out of the washer, i swear i measured them at 15" across. I wore them wet for a little to delay the inevitable and now they seem to be about 15.5". Might stretch a little more, but I don't know...

sad day today... cold washed my 1000x and they shrunk some more, to the point were I don't think I can wear them anymore. pretty sure the shrinking is done now though, they've got some killer leg twist, just like my old 660s. Gently worn size 31 1000xx for sale soon, once they dry up.

What's the sizing like for the 1974 Type ii? I'm a true 33 waist, was thinkig going true to size if I pull the trigger. Maybe a 34?
edit: actually, are the ones on supra-quintessence one washed? The measurements seem like they are.

While I have your ears... one of the finest freddie hubbard tracks combined with an epic, all star, kick you in the face lineup. 18 minutes of pure bliss. So epic it needs two parts.
Freddie Hubbard - trumpet * Stanley Turrentine - tenor saxophone * Johnny Hammond - organ/electric piano * George Benson - guitar * Ron Carter - bass * Billy Cobham - drums * Airto Moreira - percussion

yeah, donaldson is funky. great with blakey. speaking of grant green, you guys heard lee morgan's search for the new land? great record. nice to see jazz heads on here. great taste in clothes and music!
My favorite Lee Morgan album, hands down. Mr. Kenyatta - Morgan, Shorter and Green are so on point. And I'm a sucker for a groovy rhythm section too.
For the hip hop heads, KMD sampled that track for their Contact Blitt. MF Doom was digging deep even then.

i bought some phone cases as gifts for my siblings this christmas and bought myself a tool case, cause why not? don't think we've had one of these posted yet so i thought i'd share. it's semi-custom. i just asked for black denim and a leather patch instead of the tailor tag. i use it to haul around phones and their accessories for work. it's a nice step up from the ziploc bag i was using. the leather patch is deerskin i think and should age nicely.
navy zip tape an a universal zipper
signature ryo & hiro sturdy construction and attention to detail. love the selvage lines and chambray covered side seams
i don't know how long they've been doing this but they included a little tuft of raw cotton in the box. gotta love it

spent the evening and early morning of today upgrading and testing my workstation pc. being the incredible nerd that i am, i got caught up in the moment and didn't take any pictures. it was a pretty intense upgrade, had to do a lot of crazy cable management and squeezing but now everything is great. need a new soundcard though cause my old one won't fit. i need a headphone amp for my music or i will die. literally die. an expensive newegg purchase has sorted that out thankfully.
anyway, to make up for a lack of super exciting computer pictures here are some glamour shots of the chinos. i had these before the contest so... they're probably got like two weeks of wear at the most. the seat/crotch have the most noticeable wear but there are subtle blues coming in all over. all of these pairs are going to be looking super nice soon. the areas that have worn into a blue are nice and soft like the caramel duck chinos.
Then i took the dog for a walk and looked like this: 60 degrees F today in indiana - insane.

Anyone have a preferred online seller in Japan to pick up Warehouse from. Most of the places I see have limited sizes and the inseams are a bit short for me. You can PM if you prefer.
Thank you.
Blue in green can do special orders from any brand they carry. I know you're not in the us but that shouldn't matter. Send them an email.
Edit: missed the "in Japan" part, sorry.

Fuck this iPad. Sorry for the neg slab. Nice looking jeans.
Haha, just noticed grooveholmes did the same thing. It's a glaring usability problem with 5.0. Need at least a 40px hit area for touch!!

We have some really cool people in this contest, lots of diverse occupations and locations. Ninja07 I know what you mean about the tightness in the hip area. I felt the same thing but after about 10 days things have loosened up nicely.

Got the Left Field contest chinos to satiate my contest cravings while throwing my 1000xx and Ooes in the mix. Holiday fat has me too self conscious to wear the eternals....
But I really want some samurais!!!!

@kansas: i've been wanting to do a little geocaching around here - always liked the idea and a bit of exploration is always cool.
@surly nice wallet... and vape? not that i know what that is or anything.

because i was off of work today, my brother and i decided to go to greenbush brewery in sawyer michigan. might as well show you all my new favorite place!
the day started off with breakfast:
in retrospect, we probably should have checked the weather forcast before we left. there was a winter storm advisory in effect for the area. the things we do for beer... and a contest.
when we got there, the power was off. to be expected in a small town, i suppose. the beer was still flowing, however and after a pint it was back and we were knocking back a few more. the mugs are for mug club members - a 40 dollar inital investment gets you half price beers on mondays, invites to special events and the satisfaction of supporting your local brewers. the beer in my mug is an imperial ipa brewed with a local guy who had won a michigan brewers contest. it is excellent.
after a few beers it was time for a grilled cheese. all michigan sourced ingredients.
a look around the brewery shows you a really nicely priced tap list and a wonderful handcrafted copper kettle made by fred zaft. this kettle dates to before the turn of the century and it used to live in san fransisco.
we didn't leave empty handed.
it was a really nice day in michigan.

Super informative as always mike, thanks. Do you know any us stockists of sedgwicks? Im thinking of just asking Charlie to throw it in with the belt since I can't find any locally.
