Nice, aho. one of my favorite cuts paired with some of the best denim. enjoy them!
dirty secret: every pair of raw denim i have gets tossed in the washing machine as soon as they arrive.

Thank you. The specs include a 1/4 lowered Cuban heel, single brown midsole, #700 half sole, close trim, standard last, no pull loops, a red liner and the toe cap. Aside from the horsehide colors I think that's it.

Thank you'. I did also get the heel lowered 1/4". I'm really liking how they look in person. Ray was the one who encouraged me to try some sort of two tone on the boots, I'm glad I did.

Really excited for this. I've been thinking about my new pair for a about a year now. I think I've settled on the 02 cut with 01 detailing and some sort of lined pockets... still deciding on a crotch rivet and specific hardware and stitching.

I noticed that too, and I'm wondering the same. I've got one on the way sized Medium, which is my usual size for most MF shirting. I'll post up the raw and cold soak measurements when I get it.

echoing the love for the details you've put into these jeans. the lined yoke, pocket openings and that split back pocket are too cool. great stuff!

I do believe that was Post O'Alls. They had a nice shirt like that and two chore coats. Washed and rinsed/kinda distressed.

I would totally do a jean jacket contest, it'd be much easier than rotating the left field and samurai contests with a third pair of jeans. Plus, an ooe jacket would be a really really nice option. I don't think we've ever had a jacket contest before either...

As would I! Would be awesome to have their backing on a contest.

Thanks to Ray, the devil on my shoulder, I've got a custom pair of white's semi-dress in horsehide coming to me. Pretty sure I'll get them before the cutoff for this contest. (really hope!!!)

awesome stuff, kansas. pants are looking really nice! those are the black ones right? I think that right there is evidence that the owners of the black pairs have nothing to worry about.

do most people use the obenauf heavy duty lp or the leather oil?
I use the lp, and I'm fairly confident others do as well.

+1 to the use of Obenauf's on patches. I always use a really thin coating on patches after a soak or wash.

Awesome news on the soak, Kansas. As long as the waist doesn't shrink and I lose 2 inches in inseam I am happy. Probably going to wash mine this week. Glad I held off on the hem!
