I'll be flying home again tomorrow, I can measure my W33 2005 No.2's when I get home if you'd like. They stretched out a ton. If I'd got No.2 again I'd either go tts or perhaps even down one, depending on how slim of a fit you're looking for.

As far as the camo pockets go, the last pair I ordered had them and I thought it was cool. Evisu's own camo is kind of classic, they used to make overalls out of them and stuff. 

Ignore the advice from the Evisu store.. In my experience. I took their advice and my waist ended up wayyy too big.

I speak Japanese, main reason would be that I figured it makes it easier to get a job in Japan afterwards than if I were to get a degree in another country and then started to apply for jobs from abroad.

Doing an MBA in Japan, worth it? Looking at Kyoudai atm but not sure if their graduate programs are as good/famous as their undergraduate programs.

So, I've tried a pair of one wash skulls in 32 which were perfect, but given the tendency around these forums I'm inclined to buy a raw pair. Can I buy the same size as I tried in the one wash version? Kind of a silly question perhaps but just checking to be sure.

From what I could gather they have a new designer (European guy) who is making new fits and such, but I believe Yamane is still very much so involved with the company. 

Oh that's a good one.. I wanna say yes they did but I'm not sure though. I'll have a look next time.

Japanese Evisu does have a small waist though, so not everyone can pull of sizing down 2 in my opinion..

Nah not in college(not here at least), just crashing at friends in Kansai for the summer.

It wasn't a dorm per se but I guess it was affiliated with the university she was attending since it had big signs everywhere saying no guys allowed inside. Anyway bad luck that old lady called me out on trying to get in since the girl was like "yeah it'll be fine'' when we headed over. Fucking annoying not having my own apt tbh.

Surprised nothing from the new season has leaked yet afaik, don't they usually drop that shit around the 25th of August?

Haha I've been going around trying on stuff and my fingers are itching to pull the trigger on something, my current Evisu's already had two crotch blowouts and are just so fucked up. 

I think people who like the sized down 2001 fit will really dig the 2011 fit. 2012 should be something different, as both the No.1 and No.2 version are still called 2011. 

No guys allowed apts, wtf Japan. Got caught by the landlady trying to sneak in. Total waste of time. 

Any worn in examples of the new batch of Skull jeans? Tried the 5010 yesterday, surprised how good the fit was, save for the rise which could be a tad higher it was damn near perfect, even for a Western guy with big thighs.

On a different note, I dropped by Evisu yesterday and tried on some of the new pairs. First off all the 9000 and 9001, which I think there was some confusion about on here. Basically the 9000 is a straight slim fit, a bit slimmer in the top block than the 2000 and about the same taper from the knee down. 9001 is the same, but it comes with a few extra details such as hidden rivets; the 9000 and 9001 are like the Denime normal and Denime XX versions. Both are actually standard No.2 denim, despite the patch not saying No.2. Price was ~Â¥19000 for the 9000 and Â¥22000 for the 9001 iirc, although with that little difference I don't see why anyone would go for the 9000 really. 

The 2011 is also new I think? It's a pretty good fit, room in the thighs(like most Evisu) but tapers pretty aggressively below the knee. Comes in both No.1 and No.2 denim, think a lot of people here might like it actually. Rise seemed a bit shorter than the 2005, which is good too.  

Haha my friend lives in Ibaraki, that shit is dead. I am visiting it next week though, lol. 

Speaking of Evisu Japan, I haven't really kept up with the news but a bunch of the stores in Kansai are closed: in Osaka the massive one next to Tachibana Dori is closed, in Kyoto both the Kiyamachi and the Teramachi ones are closed. In all fairness the amount of stores they had was ridiculous but still, guess they're making some big changes if they're shutting down these iconic stores that have been around for as long as I've been coming here (6 years now). 

Went to Evisu Osaka today to do the same thing I did last year, which is to get my Evisu International No.2's painted. Despite it being the same store the woman was ridiculously rude and straight up refused within 2 sentences.. Despite the fact that I told her I'd gotten it done twice before >_< . Need to go to a store with nicer staff it seems. 

Just take the kid to Disneyland / Disney Sea for a day, you'll have a blast too. Tokyo Tower/ Sky tree should be fun too. 

I'll be hitting up Taipei in 2 weeks, anyone got any restaurant/places to eat to recommend?

A good tailor could fix those holes pretty well with darning I reckon. 

Does Iron Heart in Tokyo stock the 555? I know it's a special edition but since it's the flagship store I hoped they might.
