  1. Anyone here that can chime in on how often police check/enforce bike safety rules? Was thinking about bringing my fixed gear next time, but from what I understand German law requires you to have 2 brakes.. Which I do not. And Berlin police enforce it pretty harshly apparently?

  2. Do WTAPS or NBHD  sell their shirts with no graphic? I love the thick build and fit of them and how they last forever, but it would be dope to get the same thing with no branding for a bit cheaper.

Any recommendations on similar tees made in japan or america?

Wtaps releases their skivvies every season, and NBHD sells blank NBHD tees as well. But.. Usually they're a tad thinner than their regular shirts.

  3. ^ true story. My friend lives around the corner so basically anytime we head towards the subway we pass it, and as long as you avoid the rush hour that starts between around 12 and then between 5 and 6 in the afternoon, you're good. Best we had was when there was only 1 person in front of us and Mustafa himself was making them, so good.

  4. It's located in Koenji, Tokyo.

    Found this on google:

So then I went on the Japanese google maps and looked for this alleged seiyu (西å‹ï¼‰supermarket near Koenji station (高円寺駅)and found this:

Where number D is the supermarket.

Streetview then confirmed that this is the house you're talking about, on this map seen as A:

And here's a link to it on google maps so you can check out the street view:

  5. Actually, the only Syndicate dealer in Amsterdam is Ben-G as far as I know. I'm waiting for them to drop at Ben-G since Syndicate sizing isn't always consistent. And support your locals haha. Are they as good as they seem? I heard they're super light and comfortable.

  6. Lol, just had a quick look at the info they posted on the blog about it.

Apparantly, those that helped in the growing/cultivation process get a priority in the reservations schedule. It seems members of the Samurai club were given the option to participate in the cotton cultivation process in 2012.

Also, that Â¥999,999 price is excluding tax.. Yep.

I did learn that idea behind the pocket design of Yamato jeans is 2 seagulls handing over a baton. It's supposed to represent the passing of treasures from the natural world to the posterity/future.

But yeah, in short the price is justified by the idea that this is 100% Samurai made cotton. So basically the special point would be to own a pair of jeans that have been produced by the company all the way down to the growing of the cotton.

...At this price point I'd rather outsource my cotton though.

  7. Fukuoka, good food, shopping and nice nightlife but if you're going for sightseeing you'll be a tad disappointed, as the only thing really worth visiting is Dazaifu. If you've got a JR pass you could do some day trips to other places in Kyushu though, like Beppu and Kumamoto and Nagasaki.

  8. Got a 33, should've gotten a 32 for a relaxed slim fit but in all honesty probably should've gotten an 31 for the fit I was after.. Bad sizing + losing some weight made them unwearable :( . Think mine measure something around ~17'' across.

  9. Was in Berlin again for the weekend and, having done the regular sightseeing a bunch of times, did something new for a change: Berliner Unterwelten. It takes you through the bunkers with a tour guide, and depending on which tour you do the guide tells you about the theme of the tour, which ranges from World War 2 and the cold war to the Berlin wall. It was really cool, super informative and interesting, and only runs you 10 euros for 2 hours. I myself did the Berlin Wall themed tour (Tour M), which was brilliant. Next time I'll definitely try to join another one. My friend from Berlin shared the same opinion as me and found it very informative and fun. Tours are also offered in both German and English.
