Anyone with Samurai 710s and 883's who can help me with sizing/fit? I'm ideally looking for a fit a tad slimmer than my 710s, mainly from the knee downwards (top block is fine). I wear a 31 in the 710s which fits perfect without a belt, can I pull off a 31 or would a 32 be better? Thighs on the 710s are about as tight as I want them, so if the thighs are a lot smaller I might need to size up. 

Honestly I'm really disappointed in the blue stitching on the 710bkb's.. Kind of a deal breaker for me, was really excited for a proper black pair. 

Any more info on the 710bkb drop yet? Pretty excited about that.

Why not get one from any electronics market really? You'll pay a bit more, but it's faster than Taobao and less hassle. 

Besides the zipper, is there anything premium about them? Materials used, insole etc? Remember seeing the first release in Soph store and being underwhelmed for the ~20k price tag. 

Not sure but judging by who he is partnering with it can't be good.

Out of the top 20 ramen, I've only had Tagano. I've actually never heard of like 95% of the places. 

Honestly I tried a few of the ones in Kansai but without a car getting to most of them was such a friggin' pain in the ass since they are always somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Really wish they would differentiate a bit more between "actually in the city" and "technically in the city but buttock nowhere inaka really".

What's everyone watching this season? From the new stuff I only bother with Death Parade and ansatsu kyoushitsu, and the new seasons of Tokyo Ghoul and Aldnoah. Aldnoah is kinda taking a gundam esque approach this season with more politics which I dig a lot actually.

will any of the evisu stores in japan paint gulls on preowned jeans? im considering bringing my lot2000's with me that have blank pockets to try and get custom characters written on them if possible

I did this and can confirm they will paint on both worn in jeans as well as new jeans, but they have to be Evisu JP (no Evisu EU). It kind of goes without saying but they do want you to wash them before they paint them if they're worn in, because else the paint doesn't stick properly. Costs ~2100Â¥ I believe. Most stores can't do it on the spot (depends on how busy the artist is at that time) so plan around it if you wanna be sure you can get it done. 

Mustafa is worth the wait if you avoid rush hour. So in my experience, come before 11:30 in the morning or after 2:30 in the afternoon, and again avoid it from 17:00 until like 19:30 or something. Like if the line is all the way until that currywurst shop or even further, don't bother. Else just get a drink from the store right in front of Mustafa and relax while lining up, it moves decently fast anyway. In the end it's still basically the best döner experience I've had that constantly delivers every time you go. 

As a European I have to say that I have yet to find any tasty bread in Japan. What gets me is the overly present flavour of (fake) butter in almost all the bread. Maybe some high end bakeries in Tokyo do a better job but even the expensive stuff from specialized shops and big departments was really meh at best in Kansai, yet came at a premium price. Then again I gave up on bread really fast so after that I didn't bother looking for it as much.

When in Kyoto go to Arashiyama, definitely worth the visit. Shouldn't take a full day so while you're on that side of the town anyway add Kinkakuji to your planning as well. 

As much as I like my 710s, I'm getting a bit fed up with my pocket bags developing a new hole every week lately. It hasn't even been 6 months yet, first time I had pockets blow out on me that quickly  .

Yeah mine aren't the OG ones (lot 10 19oz xx) and I have this on both pockets. 

My pockets started to unravel after about two months. Inside of the pocket got a hole after three, bit bummed out about that one actually.

For those who've been buying Samurai for a longer time, my 710xx are lot 10 and now that I am looking into buying another pair I'm wondering whether I should size the same or if it has changed over the years. Anyone who knows?

Bape shut down? Aww, that takes me back to.. 2008, lining up for the NY drop there. Invincible is actually cool if you're into Original Fake with the vast amounts of stock they just don't seem to move at all.. Remember first time when I stumbled upon Invincible back when every single shop on the street had at least 1 4ft Kaws companion, yet Invincible had like 4 set up around the entrance. Was in 2008 or something as well. 

If there's a store that I don't get there it's that Phantaci store, utter rubbish that they're selling and somehow they get collabs and high level accounts from Nike and such..
