copped too but in the black/sail and agreed they definitely run small.

must stop buying black footwear but can't help myself, may also try copping the sequoia.

I know the feeling, I keep on buying black shoes... I just can't get on with most shoes with colours, but then I really don't need more black shoes haha.

  2. I checked last night, it definitely cannot be done sewfree. But if you don't mind sewing then replacing them can be done, however part of the buckle is integrated deep into the bag so I think you will end up with 3 buckles regardless.

Buying the stabilizer strap separately would be great! But they charge a minimum of $50 for shipping to China for a $8 strap, lol. But I think I can source one here actually, need to look around.

I'm gonna try the upside down thing when I get home branespload, never actually thought of it.

  3. It's pretty good, I've had it for 2 years now and quality wise it still looks brand new. Pockets are good and useful, you can actually fit a surprisingly lot of stuff in there (yay for 13'' laptop compartment) and the zippers are good. I don't get to use mine that often, but I usually use it as a camera bag when I'm out and about.

The only 2 things I would've changed about it is the lack of a tri-point system, which would come in handy when cycling, and that I had to get used to the fact that it sits pretty horizontal on your back. When I got it I was expecting it to be more like a traditional waist bag that goes from top left shoulder to the bottom right.

  4. Fuck visiting Chinese zoo's, it's not a good experience. Just do some of the regular tourist stuff, visit the bund, maybe go up one of the towers in Pudong (Financial center, Shanghai tower), visit people's square, tianzifang etc.

Anyway hit me up next time you're in Fycus, always down for drinks.

  5. Uhh I only recently got back so mostly going wherever people are going. More of a beer drinker myself so went to some of the usual craft beer places, Boxing Cat, Liquid Laundry, Dr. Beer etc. Definitely need to get into the scene a bit more to find some good spots tho.

Yeah the place was like 50% fuerdai who were just ordering shit to taste it and then dump it and 50% expats with that overly finance expat bro vibe going on.

  6. Tried to go to Flask yesterday (mostly for the novelty), turns out it closed 2 weeks ago. Ended up at Candor, pretty cool and excellent cocktails (but I am by no means an expert). But I wasn't feeling the crowd that much TBH. We were there relatively early though (bounced at 11:30) and from what I understood it doesn't get poppin' until late at night.

  7. Anyone who has both these and the 711? I see that the consensus is that it fits smaller than a normal 710, but would it fit similar to a 711, or a bit smaller than that? I have the 710 and the 711 in the same size (31), and the 711 is quite a bit smaller overall (not just the rise) in my experience.

  8. Even with Japanese 2nd hand shops fakes do slip through. I've spotted fake items on the racks at Kind in Osaka a number of times, staff is pretty knowledgeable but they're not experts per se. Not like those items were cheaper than normal either, just regular prices. So if it looks off I'd suggest double checking rather than assuming it'll be fine.

  9. I haven't, but I have a friend who is a pretty high level sushi chef who did go (and went to a bunch of other sushi places around Japan with similar reputation). He said he enjoyed it, but the price/quality balance really depends on your own expectations. Anyone who has seen the documentary (which I guess most people have) will probably imagine a relaxed night where they slowly take you through the different courses: scrap that, you're in and out in under 45 minutes. My friend said he spend about 40k on it in total, and he advised against visiting it unless you really are that balling or have an extremely refined palette for sushi, e.g. sushi chefs themselves. I myself would probably rather spend that kind of money on 2-3 high end restaurants where you get the full experience rather than the short one at Jiro, but I don't claim to be a true sushi connoisseur in any way so that might also be the reason why.

  10. The new Take 5 711 looks really good, 19oz denim, nice details and lovely pocket bags. Just wish they would have released them a month earlier since I visited both Take 5 Taipei and Shanghai this summer :(

  11. Featuring the same design and decoration by Wonderwall, what once spanned two floors is now limited to one floor, for more efficient delivery of the latest BAPE collection.

I know there was always a stairs leading up, but I was under the impression that you couldn't go up? Or at least every time I

was there(2008-2013) I never saw anyone go up.
