Hi guys, need some help on those DS t-shirts sizing. I'm 180 cm and 95 kg no fat mostly meat and muscles. Does anybody of same proportions tried XL? Based on mothersite sizing it should look like a dress on a person who is under 2 meters tall, is that right?

mate xl would be way too long for you, being roughly the same height went with a large and found that a touch long, may differ if you have a longer/shorter torso

I really wanted to see evolution in the DPM designs in future seasons. The corduroy jacket from last season was stunning. But this stuff reminds me of public transit and airport carpets.

it was my first thought on seeing the lookbook but wasn't too sure on the dpm pattern, watching the video reinforced my fear.

did you cop the corduroy jacket, what's it like? wanted to grab one but missed out.

Does anyone here know if the new E (encapsulated nylon) will take fabric dye? Got a few drops of salycilic acid on my P10A-E and the fabric isn’t damaged but the spots have been bleached almost white. Wondering if there’s any point in throwing it in a Dylon dye wash cycle

nylon can take a dye quite easily but don't bother with dylon as that is a mix of two types of dye, direct and levelling, direct used for cotton, levelling for wool, animal fibres and nylon, dylon will only do a ok job as half the dye is wasted, unless you have one and don't mind giving it a go.

to do a good job you'll need an acid dye. there is a caveat, guessing encapsulated nylon has some kind of treatment for water repellency, so dying may not work at all. contact acronym and a professional for advice.

Should be refreshing to not see the same old glitch graphic garbage and wild colors Ian and Umit seemed to love.

it's almost like papa hugh hides the crayons and felt tips when on the serious business of designing acronym garments but now and again they're allowed to go a bit crazy on sisp. just be thankful there hasn't been any glitter.

  7. if jfs is on board definitely looking forward to see what she conjures up. might not be a bad idea to retire sisp if acronym are dropping out and hopefully jfs takes over. in the main sisp has had a glorious run but it’ll be good to see johanna wholly own a jfs x stone island collab without the spectre of acronym’s past looming over it with comparisons being made between past and present.

  8. it's the first sisp collection that there is not one piece that I like, hate to be disparaging but as with lots things fashion and design it's subjective and everything evolves but wow this is unimaginative, flat, odd and are they competing with superdry for zip count.

done and done. C1-AJ and HG1-AK come to poppa.

exactly that, acronym discounts are rarer than a rocking horse. copped the c1-aj acronym christmas jumper and s23-ak.

    gonna get toasty.

Acronym is a luxury brand with luxury price points, I can’t even imagine stuff like that on 200EUR Arcteryx jacket. Acronym was always synonymous with quality. Fabrics (not stotz or epic), patterns, quality control, branding etc. But seeing mistakes like that especially after steady price increases is pretty sus. Kinda feels like on a personal level E is not interested in the brand anymore.

don't think its quite the case errolson and by extension acronym do not care about the brand, otherwise why bother bother with collaborations and all the marketing that entails, although one could argue that the collabs are way alleviate the boredom they may feel with acronym, a form of invigoration.

if you look at the clothing as an extension of how acronym thinks, in the past it would be more aggressive silhouettes, everything on point, todays acronym is more relaxed, going with the flow and seems that attitude has permeated through to quality control. just my two rusty pennies worth and could be just chatting out of my hat.
